The graduation party was over. All of that excitement was over. All of the craziness that we had been experiencing for the last few weeks, hell, the last few months, was all gone now. It literally felt like the morning after the party was a different life for us. It was like the door to our youth, the connection we had to high school, was now gone. Did we magically become older? Did we somehow mature and grow up more in the course of a night?
I highly doubt that anything like that happened at all. It was just the way that things felt. With how much had happened yesterday and how busy we had been lately, it was just like a sense of relief that made me, and the others as well, feel like we were completely different people when the morning came.
