Isaiah, Carly, and Kathryn, we're getting ready to approach the Sea Komodo nest.
"Mr. De Rossi said you all did a mission like this before, was it the same kind of Sea monster?" Isaiah asked in the mind link.
"No, they were ancient bread of Sea crocodiles. Closer to the Academy. They were more than likely strays." Carly replied.
"Any pattern from these two incidents?" Isaiah asked.
"Good question, but there was none anyone could come up with," Kat said.
"What? I can think of like three right now. 1st If they were targeting anyone specific, they'd keep sending out monsters until they got the person they wanted to go on the missions.
"2nd, if I tried to capture anyone, it would be Kathryn. She has two parents who are members of the Seven Kings, and I'm guessing she's the only child."
"3rd, Or it's one of the two Ocean masters you mentioned before trying to stir up some trouble with the Kraken, your dad," Isaiah said.
"We have already thought of more than half of those," Carly said. Shooting Isaiah's down.
Kat imminently stopped swimming to think about what Isaiah just said.
"Wait, he has a good point; this is the first time I've been on a Sea mission for like six months now." Kat answer with worry in her voice.
"Carly, when did these random Sea monster attacks start accruing?"
Carly opens her watches' hologram and starts flipping through files. Her eyes widen.
"Six and a half months ago," she says
They all looked at each other with panicked expressions on their face. They all knew one thing. "This was not a coincidence."
CSSSEEE
Isaiah starts to hear a sound that sounds like running water. He soon recognizes the sound and Telekinetically pushes everyone in the opposite direction.
"Sniper!" Isaiah yells.
The bullet flies pasts Kat's original position.
She rolls her eyes, looking at the bullet that could have killed her.
"They just turned this would be field trip mission into an actual one. . . un acceptable." Kat said, looking in the direction the bullet came from.
The bullet came from the direction they were heading, called the Ant Hills, because it was an underwater cave with many tunnels.
"D***, we're going to the Ant Hills too. How could I not know it was a setup." Kat Cursed to herself.
Within the next breath, Kenny put up an ice wall in front of them now that they were on the seafloor.
"Carly! quickly tell me where exactly what azimuth degree that bullet came from." Isaiah demanded.
"How would you know if I could even do that?" Carly argued.
"DO IT!" Isaiah shouted with a stern voice in the link.
Carly quickly touches the side of her glasses, and they start glowing dark red. She follows the trail of the bullet then points in the direction.
"312 Degrees NorthWest.!" she shouts.
"But why would you need that?"
"Watch," Isaiah said as he floats to the top of the Ice wall.
Isaiah smirks as he closes his eyes and stretches out his arm, opening his hand.
"What is he doing?" Kenny askes Kat
Kat shrugged; I have no idea.
In the distance, they begin to see a figure moving towards them at a breakneck speed. Before anyone of them could react to it, the figure landed in Isaiah's hand.
Isaiah was holding a man by the throat. He was wearing full scuba gear over black tactical gear.
"Is this... A Human?" Isaiah said, squinting his eyes at the solider
"Kat, can you put up a bubble so we can talk to this guy," Isaiah asked in the link
Kat waved her hands in the air (water), and a bubble starts to form around them.
Isaiah throws the man down on the rugged seafloor.
"Alright, man, you know the drill, and you know what we're going to ask for, so just tell us what we want to know," Isaiah said
As soon as the words left Isaiah's mouth, the soldier reaches for his handgun and gets a round off in Isaiah's direction.
The bullet stops right in between Isaiah's eyes then he grabs it.
"You don't think I noticed the handgun on you? I just wanted to see if you were bold enough to use it. This guy has no idea who he's messing with." Isaiah says has his eyes started to glow green
"You're a level 7 psychic but now your just a kid? The soldier said, shaking his gun out of fear.
"He's right; only a level 7 Telekinetic would be able to stop a bullet like that. But, of course, Xavier can do that too, but that's within his realm of superpowers.
"How did Isaiah go from a level 5 to a level 7 in less than 72 hrs?" Carly thought to herself, looking at Isaiah.
Isaiah turns to Kenny.
"Did any of that sound like the information we wanted to know?"
"No, I can't say it did," Kenny replied.
"Kenny make him a little more comfortable its kinda hard to see him with all of the scuba gear on," Isaiah said.
Kenny walks over and strips the soldier down to his underwear.
"I didn't mean that comfortable, but it will work," Isaiah replied, shaking his head.
" Listen, man, we are miles and miles down here in the ocean, and all I have to do is let you outside this bubble for one min, then you'll implode.
There was no fear in his eyes. "Do you think an Elite would die by something so trivial?" The soldier spits on the ground next to him.
"Elites are the future of humanity, and we will claim our place within the Infinite Void. We are the Phantom Patriots, and we kill the 6 Kings." the Soildor said smiling.
Kat unsheathes her sword and cuts the soldier's head off. His head rolls on the grown in Isaiah's direction.
Isaiah tries to ignore it to maintain his dignity because he seems to be the only one bothered by it.
"He said 6 Kings, which means they could be working for one," Kat said, sheathing her sword.
"There is only one member of the 7 Kings who is an Elite, and tha-" Carly said.
"Powerhouse," Isaiah said, cutting her off.
