Isaiah wakes up feeling drained and sweet all over his body. He looks up to Carly and Kat, staring at him like he's an exotic animal or something.
"Is there a reason you're in my house right now?" Isaiah said, rubbing his forehead looking around his living room.
"You missed the meeting at dinner, so we came to check on you," Kat said, looking concerned.
"Yea, once we got here, you wouldn't answer the door even after we banged on it pretty hard. Then once I scanned your house then found you, I noticed that all of your psychic energy had disappeared.
"We found you on the floor breathing heavily and overheating," Carly said, not trying to look concerned as well.
"I actually don't know what happens when I run out of psychic energy." Isaiah thought to himself.
"Oh, that I was just doing some mental training. I actually can control my body heat so I can cool myself off with a fairly easy watch." Isaiah said, activating his ability.
The air around Isaiah instantly got cooler, much faster than he anticipated.
He could feel that he could push himself a lot further than he used to, but he decided to do that on his own time.
Both Kat and Carly look at Isaiah confused, like, "What are you?"
"Why do you have 2 psychic powers completely unrelated to each other?" Carly asked, pushing her glasses up and focusing her eyes.
"What do you mean unrelated? Are they usually?" Isaiah asked
"Yea, almost always, we expected you to be able to read minds. That is Telekinetic dual power most of the time." Kat Added
"Really, my dad can teleport through, and he has Telekinesis like me," Isaiah said.
Both Carly and Kat make a face.
Anyways it's good to know what your second ability is, Kat said
Let's get on to business. We'll meet at the teleporter at 10am sharp then begin our mission from there. These are just sea monsters we were dealing with. They shouldn't be too high of a power level without me exactly knowing who they are.
The part of the ocean we're going to is neutral Territory for the Ocean masters that's why most Wake Underwater city is having such a rough time. Because they're pretty much on their own. Kat explained.
"Ocean masters, are who exactly?" Isaiah asked.
"I'll tell you tomorrow, right now we should get more familiar with each other, '' Kat smirked. Leaning in closer to Isaiah.
"Kathryn, Please!" Carly said, Blushing.
"Alright, relax. I was kidding. What I mean is we're going to tell each other what abilities we have so we can coordinate better on the battlefield. Kat said
"I'll go first." Sair Carly
"I'm a technomancer, meaning I create machines and robots. But my base abilities are lighting and Earth magic." Carly said with her nose up
"You can wield lighting that sounds cool," Isaiah said, shaking his head.
"That's what you got out of everything I just said? Hello Technomancer? I invent things that apply magic and modern technology." Carly said, moving her hands to make it more exciting.
"I know what it is. I do play video games. I just think that shooting lighting just looks cooler," Isaiah said.
"Anyways, Nerd!" Kat said.
"As you know, I'm a Chimera but not a normal one. I can transform into any creature that I've seen. I can even change my size too." Kat said as he made her breast grow.
Isaiah's nose begins to bleed. His eyes go to the back of his head as his head falls to the back of the sofa.
"Oh my gosh! Kat, do you always have to be so extra" Carly said, rushing over to Isaiah.
Carly runs over and lifts Isaiah's head and lightly slaps him to bring his eyes forward.
"I'm good; my nose just does this sometimes," Isaiah said, making an excuse.
Carly brings eyes an Ice pack for his nose.
"Dang, I didn't think you would try to help me so fast,'' Isaiah said to Carly.
"I just didn't want you to ruin the new carpet," Carly said, looking way
"Anyways, that concludes the brief before the mission tomorrow. Don't be late, we'll see you till then. Kat said as both she and Carly walked out the door.
"Yea, no problem," Isaiah said, waving them out of the door.
"Well, that's definitely brought my psychic energy back," Isaiah said, tossing his ice pack into the sink.
Positive emotions increase Isaiah's psychic energy pool at a steady rate. And nothing is more potent than a teenage boy's hormones.
"System, am I out of psychic energy because I upgraded to abilities at the same time," Isaiah asked, looking at his notifications screen.
[Correct, When upgrading an ability, the system will use the current energy in the host's body to improve said ability]
"Ok, so I shouldn't use this during critical moments. I expect to be out for a lot longer." Isaiah thought to himself.
[Abilities]
Telekinesis π-The ability to move objects with your mind. (Level-7)
Body Temperature Manipulation π- (Level-4) Able to control the temperature of the user's body.
"I'm a level 7 Telekinetic. There's no way I'm still considered a "Hunter rank" with this level of ability. So the ranking system must just be raw stats and notability." Isaiah thought.
"I have got to test this out," Isaiah said, lifting up his cellphone with his telekinesis.
Isaiah completely dismantled his phone down to every tiny screw exposing all of the parts. Then within seconds, he assembles it all together.
"With just this much power, I'll be a name known in the psychic community. I should slowly make myself known before the revival. It will be a lot harder to find my knights otherwise." Isaiah said to himself.
Before I go to sleep, I should get more information on the Ocean Masters. Isaiah said, heading to his computer.
