The atmosphere grew a bit tense for my liking. Esposito and Cesare were eying each other, like the worst deal of the history has been proposed. I personally didn't see an issue with it, but it might've been some Family issue with it, and that much I couldn't tell. I wasn't really that well versed in how they usually work. As far as I was aware, there weren't any problems though, and it really benefited our part, which I actually didn't expect from this kid.
"If you think I'll fall for that, you're gravely mistaken, Third Capodecina," Esposito replied.
"Wouldn't it be great for you?" he asked back, with a grin on his face. Okay, yeah. Something's fishy, and this kid had a horrible pokerface.
"How?" he asked back, "Giving you ten percent of our income, in exchange for a couple of shops in the center? Are you mad?"
"I thought it was a good deal though…" I added, "Wouldn't that give us a good source of income?"
