"Can't see anything from up here," Francis shouted at Baulder walking below him.
"Is it a bust then?" he yelled back.
The two of them have been walking around the icy tundra for more than an hour at this point. Without any solid lead to find, they felt like this was just a fool's errand. Yet, there was some kind of a driving force making them advance even further. A normal human would've just given up at this point, yet that something told them that there will be something lying in wait for them.
What that was, none of them knew, yet they continued. No matter how strong the wind was, no matter how cold the snow was, they just walked forward, with no care in the world. They searched all the surrounding areas, and so far nothing seemed out of place, not from the sky, not from the ground.
"Do you think we'll find anything?" Baulder shouted at the man flying above him.
"Maybe," he replied casually, "You never know."
