(1st POV)
…Or maybe I'm just being too impatient, considering I'm only a five-year-old kid.
In this world, my name is Seo Kwan. It's a bit strange to me since I never had a Korean name before, but hey, I can roll with it.
(3rd POV)
"𝔚𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔯𝔢 𝔴𝔢?" a boy said as he rose unsteadily from the sand.
"Master, do you know where we are? This looks like the Human World... but it feels different. This doesn't seem like the world the Ancient Emperor used to rule," said a beautiful girl, nibbling on what appeared to be a chunk of solid gold.
"You're right. This isn't the same world," the boy said, narrowing his eyes. "But if obstacles like this are meant to stop me, then I'm not worthy of being called the Ancient Emperor."
"𝔄𝔣𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔞𝔩𝔩, 𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔰 𝔦𝔰 𝔫𝔬𝔱 𝔢𝔫𝔬𝔲𝔤𝔥 𝔱𝔬 𝔥𝔩𝔬𝔠𝔨 𝔪𝔶 𝔨𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔩𝔶 𝔴𝔞𝔶," said the Ancient Emperor, his eyes flashing with determination.
Moments later...
A girl burst out of the sand, coughing and frantically brushing sand from her face. When she locked eyes with the boy, recognition sparked in her expression.
"Xin Sheng! Was it you who summoned me here?" she asked, staring intently at the young boy known as Xin Sheng.
"No, I didn't. I'm as much of an unexpected guest here as you are. But the real question is: who's powerful enough to summon me without my awareness?" Xin replied, eyes sharp with curiosity and suspicion.
"We need to find out where we are," he added, a confident smirk playing on his lips. "I was born to rule—abandoning my destiny isn't an option."
~Same time, Different place~
Seo woke up before dawn, way before his mom stirred from her sleep. Of course, since he wasn't some overpowered fictional character, he started his morning with basic exercises: running around the house 20 times and doing 10 push-ups, which was already a challenge given his child-sized muscles.
Three hours later...
'Let's hope school today isn't a hotbed for bullying. Dealing with that would be such a pain,' thought Seo, brushing his teeth and admiring his reflection in the mirror. "Well, I guess my looks are my golden finger, haha."
"Seo! Are you ready for school?" called out his mother, Seo Sun-Hee, as she rinsed dishes in the kitchen.
"Almost ready, Mom!" Seo shouted back. Moments later, he was out the door, his tiny hand clasped in his mother's as they made their way to school.
~Somewhere else in South Korea~
A young man stood in front of a modest building with a sign reading "God's Cafe." He reached into his pocket, pulled out his wallet, and sighed with relief when he saw a few bills inside. He pushed open the door and stepped inside.
"Welcome to God's Cafe! What can I get for you, sir?" said a young man in a neat uniform.
"Do you have sandwiches?" the customer asked, settling into a chair.
"We do! What kind would you like, sir?" the waiter replied, ready to jot down the order.
"A chicken sandwich," the man said, his mind elsewhere.
"Is that all, sir?"
"Yes."
A few moments later, the young man paid his bill and prepared to leave. The waiter smiled, an odd glint in his eyes. "I have a feeling we'll meet again, sir."
"Oh, okay," the man said, slightly puzzled.
Just as he stepped outside, a girl rushed past him into the cafe and called out, "Lin Jie! You owe me a treat! I want—"
As the young man walked away, he whispered under his breath, "System, is this the same world?"
[Negative, User.]
[Also, I cannot detect any dungeons or daystones. They seem nonexistent here.]
