A faint sound of footsteps echoed all around. Under the moonlight, a tall man with his coat fluttering as the wind hit him, walked all alone towards Calvin.
"Is the batman kind of showoff necessary?" asked Maguire through comms, while being safely seated in Priest's trashy car.
"I am just walking... Just being dressed in black attire and strolling in the night doesn't make me the dark knight..."
The construction site was not a mere building. It was a whole 1500 acres of land, with multiple buildings intended for theatres, malls, restaurants, houses for a living, but half-built.
"Wow... You guys built all these while I was away? It's damn cool, but why none of them were finished?"
"I said it already... lack of funds and lack of support"
"From the people?"
"From the government!"
