Back to the battle, Vlad broke away from the ambush and stepped farther away from the defending Priest.
Both of them panted hard and Priest swung his Katana to clear the sand mist surrounding them, so he can catch some breath.
The sand mist was cleared. The land was already started showing multiple cracks and dents while the surrounding rusted buildings were just a little farther away from crumbling altogether.
"So, we are good to go?"
"Yeah... good to go," sighed Priest.
"Sure? I will not hold back," bragged Vlad, to which Priest just reacted annoyed.
"Let's just get on with it... You never held back actually," Priest tightened his grip on the Katana.
Vlad noticed a strange aura around Priest this time and more strangely, he can't read his powers at all, which he had little to no problem in doing earlier.
