Chereads / Idle Online / Chapter 34 - Chapter 32

Chapter 34 - Chapter 32

Both opponents looked at each other carefully as they had done in previous matches, waiting for an opportunity to inflict an accurate blow.

Still the situation was different than other times. The wolf was poisoned, so for Allan the more time passed the more advantageous the fight would be.

The big gray knew it too, after each passing second he was in worse shape, he had to kill this hairless monkey fast, so without a word he pounced on Allan who was waiting for him.

What Allan did not expect was the outcome of this clash.

(Fast !!!) thought Allan.

The wolf was fast, much faster than in any other encounter they had, without Allan being able to react the wolf was already at his side.

The collision pushed him straight into a tree a few feet from his and nearly made him drop his sword.

The pain level in Idle Online can be calibrated to suit the players, so someone like Allan who enjoys the realism of the game to the fullest put a high pain level.

However, in the fights he has had so far, he noticed that a pain level higher than 70% made it difficult for him to react and made him make mistakes, so Allan had the pain adjusted to 70%.

But even so, when he collided with the tree Allan felt his organs burn and his breathing became ragged.

As Allan watched as the wolf slowly approached, he knew that under normal circumstances he would stand no chance.

Under normal circumstances.

A series of green numbers appeared above Allan's head.

Allan bought not only poisons from Roderick but also many potions, including a Regeneration Potion, a very expensive potion.

Allan struggled to his feet and drank a different potion while he waited for the wolf to approach.

Although the big gray did not know what that monkey was doing that did not prevent him from assuming that it would not be good so he attacked him again, this time to finish him once and for all.

Clanck

However, the result was not what was expected.

This time not only did Allan not move an inch from the site but he took the opportunity to counter-attack with his sword at the wolf's unprotected chest and force him to retreat a meter away.

The big gray barely had time to notice what had happened before he noticed a glow approaching from where they had both been previously.

Allan hoped he could land a blow at the unsuspecting wolf, but the wolf reacted more quickly than expected and fought back with his claws.

Do not compare the claws of a common wolf with those of the big gray, if Allan wasn´t wearing leather armor under his clothes he would already be bleeding from all sides after the first impact.

The sound of his sword striking against the big gray's claws echoed through the forest as a flurry of blows sent the two combatants back.

The wolf was confused by the monkey's strength, but what surprised him the most was what was on the glowing stick he was holding, it was blood. It was his blood that he had spilled on the stick when it hit him.

The big gray felt worse and worse, and the vision began to blur, was he going to lose ... again?

The wolf widened his eyes as if surprised by the thoughts of him.

Not!

I will not lose! I will come back and show everyone that I am the strongest!

Allan noticed that something strange was happening to his rival, and without realizing it he looked into the wolf's eyes.

In them there was a ferocity without limits, and a desire to destroy everything that he had in front of him as ... him.

Without giving credit to what he was seeing the big gray was growing, the already huge wolf got even bigger.

His claws grew more deadly and his wounds seemed to close.

The big gray got down on two legs and howled.

Auuuuuu!

It seemed like he was claiming his throne as ruler of the forest.

Allan would have attacked right now, but he was too shocked to move. Before he could realize what was happening, someone else moved.

A figure of more than two meters of precipitate against him and sent him flying ten meters in a single blow.

This time there was nothing to cushion Allan's fall and he fell backward against the floor.

For a moment his head went dizzy and Allan thought he would pass out, but he bit his lip with all his might to stay conscious.

The pain helped him regain consciousness, only to see a very cocky wolf moving slowly towards him as if he enjoyed watching his prey suffer.

Allan grabbed the sword in his hand and used it to help him up.

Seeing that the monkey was already in the final stages, the big gray shot him a disdaining look from where he approached him.

Even so, that monkey is going to pay what he did to me, the furious wolf thought as he remembered the panic that he felt shortly before.

The wolf stood in front of the staggering figure of his pathetic adversary and as if it were a vampire, he went to bite Allan's neck and then watch him bleed.

With his jaws getting closer and closer to his victim, the wolf could already glimpse how the monkey died bled and the light slowly faded from his eyes.

And that was his mistake, he had lowered the guard.

Swish

"AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

-700 (critical hit)

Everything happened very quickly, by the time he wanted to realize he had gone blind.

At that moment, Allan raised his sword and pushed it with all his might towards the wolf's neck.

It was a shallow blow, but just as deadly considering where it took place.

After that the next thing Allan did was… nothing.

He lay down on the ground and waited.

The big gray had gone crazy, he was destroying everything that his claws touched and moving while he searched for his prey.

Over time the wolf became slower and slower and his breath was getting stronger, until he couldn't take it anymore and fell.

Allan did not move, he knew that the wolf was not dead and that this was the most dangerous moment, when a beast is cornered it is capable of anything.

So, the minutes passed, one, two, five, ten.

It is not known when the size of the wolf had returned to normal and peace returned to the forest.

It wasn't until Allan saw the status of the wolf that he said:

"He's dead, you can go out now"

Nothing was heard at first, but suddenly the undergrowth moved and a figure appeared in the middle of the clearing where Allan had been thrown.

"That was exciting! Do you want to do it again? " Tom said as he looked at Allan half dead in the mud.

"Sure, but next time we change positions" said Allan sarcastically.

"Please, like you know how to handle one of these," Tom scoffed as he showed Allan his crossbow.

"I didn't know you could use one of those"

"Yep, mandatory guard training, you would know if you were a real recruit" Tom said smiling.

Since Allan started training in the barracks, he had become friends with all the guards, but without a doubt the closest to him is Tom.

"Whatever, help me get up, I can't even lift my arms" Allan replied, and it was true, the fight had been much more difficult than he thought in the first place. Even with all the strategies Allan had for any event, it never crossed his mind that this wolf could transform.

"You're a pain in the ass," Tom said as he helped Allan up.

And after that, the two saw what they had achieved. They had defeated one of the chiefs of the forest, the big gray.

"By the way, how are we going to carry it?" Tom asked

The forest regained its silence.
