Clara swallowed her saliva. For some reason, she felt uneasy seeing Anita's father. She remembers when she and Bram's father met with Anita's father, at which time Anita's father said he would take custody of Briel from Bram.
"Hem... If you're not busy, if Briel is off school, Dad will come to visit her. It's been a long time since you brought her to Dad's house. Dad misses Briel," said Anita's father.
"Yes, of course. My house is open to Dad, and Dad is also Grandpa Briel. Briel will be happy to meet her Grandpa," said Bram.
Bram has never limited the relationship between Briel and Anita's father. For Bram, even though Anita is gone, Anita's father is still Briel's grandfather. Bram never forbade Briel to meet Anita's father. Their relationship is still good even though now Bram is no longer his son-in-law. At least, Bram was once the son-in-law of Anita's father and was involved in a family relationship with Anita's father.
