Clara smiled and shook her head. Bram smiled and returned to the kitchen. He put the food on the plate and put it on the table. After everything was done, Bram took off his apron and put it back in its place. He washed his hands, then walked over to Clara who was already sitting at the dining table. Bram sat across from Clara.
It didn't take long for them to start dinner. It was a warm dinner for Clara because Bram occasionally fed her.
"Clara, I bought you pregnant milk, don't forget to drink it. Tomorrow you go to the doctor to check your womb. Since you were pregnant, you haven't been to the doctor, have you?" said Bram.
Clara was silent, her eyes fixed on the shopping bag that was still lying on the dining table. She took the shopping bag and looked at its contents.
"Did you buy this, Bram?" asked Clara.
Bram didn't say anything, he just smiled.
"But I don't like the smell of milk," Clara said.
