"Hello",I answered my phone.
"Hey Steph! It's been a long time", Laura said excitedly.
"Yeah long time",I rolled my eyes.
"How's married life"
"It's okay"
"You know what I pity you"
"Why"
"It's because how long can you still be in that marriage"
My friend has always been frank especially when I've been married to Zach for two years.
"Don't start with me"
"Just listen, you're almost at the age and you still don't have a child and you two are still not in closure just do everything possible things that you could do, maybe you should drug him so he'll give in"
"You know that if I did that he'll distance himself more and I don't want my child to be ignored by his father",I said in disagreement.
"Well if you say so but you'll never get his attention when he has an another woman by his bed and got pregnant"
"What are you trying to say?"
"I'm saying is the only way to pin down your man is to get pregnant and have a child, maybe he might think that you're the most beautiful woman that'll bore his child."
Our call has always been like that and I don't ever wanna hear it from her however I know that's a fact, the thought of it makes me jealous of my friends that had a child.
"And I forgot to tell you, don't blame yourself on everything that happened in the past it's not your fault",she said.
"Please I don't want to talk about it"
"Don't act like a bitch you know that's the reason why Zach and you doesn't have a good relationship, stop pretending!"
"Please stop! its my own marriage and stop interfering"
"I'm just saying before everything's too late and I want you to be happy"
I felt like crying because it's the truth but how can I be happy when my happiness is Zach.
"By the way forgot to tell I'm pregnant", Laura said lazily.
"W..w...what? Since when?",I stuttered.
"I found out two weeks ago I didn't tell you because you've been going through a lot, and I'm about two months now".
"With who?"
"I just met him at a bar and had a night stand with him then got his baby",she chuckled.
I'm jealous of her because I've been married for a long time but she had gotten pregnant first after meeting a man for the first time.
"So what was his name?"
"Brian Miller",she replied.
"Congrats",I said jealously.
"Thanks",she replied.
I really want to have my own too if....if Zach have liked....no have loved me will we ever have our own kids by now maybe if we loved each other maybe we have already our second child by now.
