Kendrix's pov
I went to the mall with my sister only for me to bump into that girl she's such an annoying person I could see the rage in her eyes when she called me asshole, but it's kinda entertaining to have someone shout at me especially to make her angry, there's something about this girl that I like but I don't think she's my type, she's a feisty girl but I don't even know her name or anything about her why am I so interested in this girl I went back into shop my sister was at picking a t-shirt
"Hey you're back, why are you smiling so much" what is she talking about?, just then I realize I was smiling subconsciously while thinking about that café girl crap!
"Oh- um its nothing"
"Are you sure about that?"
"Well....I saw her.....as in I bumped into the café girl again" she shot me a surprised look while I told her what happened
"I think I need to meet this girl, I like her already" I roll my eyes at her and she just smirked
When she finished we left and I went back to the office I finished some paper work and decided to go home, the lights were still on which means Kendra is still awake, I stepped in the living room and saw her sitting on the couch watching TV, I took off my coat and dropped it on the couch sitting next to her
"Hey, what's up? are you ok?"
"Hey I'm good brother, how was work?" With a small smile on her face
"It was good, are you sure you're okay, you look kinda pale"
"Well after you went back to the office I decided to take a walk and I ended up getting to the lower part of the city and my purse was snatched from me but luckily there was a girl who ran after the guy and tackled him to the ground when the police came in, she gave me back my purse and asked if I needed any help but I just told her that I'm not from that part of the city and I'll just head home" I watched her with wide eyes as she tells me what happened
"Do you maybe know the girl that helped you?..her name maybe?"
"No I didn't ask, but I was planning on going back, just in case I might run into her because she seemed like your café girl" she teased and I just rolled my eyes
"Why did you go out without a car or at least a bodyguard?"
"I don't like to draw attention to my self and besides you know how I feel about these things" I sighed
"Ok fine but be careful next time"
"Ok brother" I gave her a small smile and went to my bedroom, I lay down on my bed but couldn't sleep thinking of that café girl I just smile and push back my thoughts to sleep.
