That report was kept at the bottom of my drawer with a lock. Hopefully, it would come in useful when I need it. I signed and headed off to dreamland.
Today's dream was quite weird it seems to be a memory from my childhood. It was when we were all happy when mother was still alive and it was before Tian An was even made. When Li Tian Hao was still a person. Gege I miss you.
Back then Princess Zi Consort had given birth to a pair of healthy baby boy twins. The eldest was named Li Tian Hao in hope that he would be filial to his parents. The second son was named Li Tian You in hope that he would by protected by God. Those who looked after the pair of twins would often know the difference between the young master. The eldest young master was cheerful and happy the second young master was cold and indifferent, he would only show his kindness to his family. At the time the twins were born the fight for the crown hadn't finished. Li Chong Hai was still the crown prince and he still had a lovely marriage with his wife. His sons were intelligent and knew more stuff then there own age. The young princes started learning and talking at the age of 2. They were both considered as genius. However Prince Tian Hao grew sicker and sicker after Prince Zi lost the crown prince position and was sent into exile. Eventually he died. That's the story that everyone knew however it wasn't the truth.
Gege never became sick. He had to fake his death because of me. I was the one who was sick. But father had announced to the world that gege was the one that was sick all because of his stupid ideas. Back then father had a secret Shadow guard alliance. The head leader was one of fathers most loyal friend and helper, but he died without a heir. In order to repay him father decided that he would make one of his sons to be adopted into the He family and become their descendants. Mother cried when she heard father say that. Mother always loved Gege as he was always able to make her laugh. So I told gege that I would be the one who would be adopted into He family and carry on their descendants. But who would've though that fate loves to play around with us. I ended up becoming sicker and sicker when were sent into exile in the North of Dong Yue. The north was the most barren and cold place. Father could not bare to see me getting sicker so he made it out that Tian Hao was the one who died and I didn't. From then on Li Tian Hao was not a person instead He Hao Yu replaced him. From then gege was sent to live with the Shadow Guards who brought him up. Even though he lived in all of this hardships he never blamed any of us and still kept his warm smile. But I blamed myself. If I wasn't sick then gege would never have to be adopted into He family. I blamed myself for this. Hence this was another reason I hated my father.
This was only the first half of my dream. The second half was when Imperial Uncle found out about the Shadow Guard alliance and sent killers to kill everyone there. I watched in silence as gege hid me and took everything done there on him selves. I watched as he fell silently glazing and smiling at me as he dies peacefully. I watched the words his mutter it seemed to say ' I never blamed you. I can finally go and see mother'. I jotted straight awake as I wiped the sweat off my forehead. When I looked around I seem to notice Yu Xuan's presence grabbing tea for me to drink. "Why are you here," I croaked before taking a sip of water. " I was standing guard at the front of your room and you were screaming out in your sleep so I rushed in and you woke up as I was searching for a handkerchief to wipe off your sweat when you woke up So I just poured some water for you," Yu Xuan replied. "What happened," he asked I glazed at him for a few seconds and decided I could trust him. So I proceeded to tell him the story from the start. Surprisingly he wasn't surprised when I told the real story of Tian Hao gege. "Why are you not shocked?" I asked Yu Xuan grinned and answered saying "Young master it seems you're suffering from dementia. I grew up with you. I was already your servant when you were 3. So I remember a bit about Young Master Tian Hao. Besides He Hao Yu's servant is my brother so of course i would know about him. To my knowledge Master He is actually living quite well.. But since you've inherited everything your father owns then that would menas you can call the shadow guards to return to Jiang Zhou or Su province so you can be reunited with Master He," suggested Yu Xuan. I nodded and proceed to ask him to return to his room I would write a letter for him to send off tomorrow, so he need valiable sleep.
Gege lets hope I'm not too late. And maybe to save everyone there I would tell His Majesty about this. Maybe not who knows?
