BEEEP BEEEP..BEEEP BEEEP..BEEPP BEEEP!!! My alarm screamed in my ear, signaling for me to get dressed. I reached over in the darkness trying to cut off the horrible noise. BEEP BEEP..BEEP BEEP!!! "Ughhh SHUT UP!" I shouted, coming from up under my baby blue polka dotted comforter to slap my phone. "Oh no, oh nonononono," I cried realizing that the alarm that was ringing was my alarm set for my morning faxes which went off at 10:45 am.
"Shoot shoot shoot!" I shouted as I leaped off my bed and hit the floor. After making it to my feet I ran into my closet and picked out a simple black casual suit that I could wear with sneakers. I threw the outfit on the bed and ran over to grab some panties and a bra. "I'm so dead," I panicked as I ran into the bathroom with my bra and parties ready to shower.
After my super quick shower I rushed and threw my pants on. I grabbed my blazer, phone, and shoes on the way out of my room when I realized I don't have on a blouse. "Ughh," I groaned, dropping my things dead in the center of the hallway and running back into my room to grab a white blouse to match my black suit.
I threw the blouse on and ran back out my room, grabbed my things off the floor and my purse off the coffee table in the living room and I was out.
"I'm so dead I'm so dead," I sighed as I sat in my car looking at all my things scattered in the back seat. I backed out my driveway as fast as my Toyota Corolla could take me and sped all the way there.
Fortunately for me I hit all the green lights and managed not to get pulled over so I was there in about 20 minutes. All the spots in front of the building were taken so I had to park in the parking garage which took forever, there we're no spots available but the ones on the very top. "Shit shit shit," I cursed as I got outta my car and started running towards the elevator.
"Please don't have him see me please don't have him see me," I whisper to myself running out of the elevator into the main building. "Second time this week Jamie," Mike, a receptionists at the front desk shouted as I ran past "Shut up Mike," I shouted back. I can't stand him. He gossips and talks too much for me.
I climb into the elevator and pressed the 7th floor button. Waiting for the elevator to open on my floor, I started to fix my clothing. "Okay Jamie, your gonna sneak into your office and act like you've been here the entire time. It's gonna be okay," I said to myself, taking a deep breath.
*DING*
The elevator opened and the first person standing there was none other than Mr. Monroe. "Jamie," he frowned, his eyebrows furrowed and his arms crossed tightly across his chest.
