"That's all..." concluded Bulma letting out a sigh as she drank a glass of water.
"So... you still haven't told Goku that you've fallen in love with him because you think he's going to reject you and that would ruin the relationship you've formed?" Tights spoke recapitulating what was said by his younger sister, who nodded.
"Who would dare to reject Bulma Briefs, the most beautiful and intelligent girl I know?!" Fusui exclaimed since you had to be crazy to reject someone like Bulma.
"It's not that... it's that Goku isn't someone who cares about that... he grew up in a forest with his grandfather and until a few years ago he couldn't clearly tell the difference between a man and a woman..." Bulma said remembering with a blush the moment Goku had taken her panties off.
It was the morning after they met, Goku woke up earlier than Bulma and he innocently removed her panties. Bulma realized this very late, having repeatedly shown Master Roshi the "treasure chest" in exchange for a Dragon Ball that the old man had in her possession.
Tights remembered that Bulma had told him about that event, confirming Goku's innocence. Another boy in her place would have taken advantage without much hesitation.
Bulma experienced Goku's development in the first person, he went from being a boy who worried about training and eating to being a boy concerned about the state of health of his daughter's mother and a boy capable of changing diapers, preparing bottles and even also sing lullabies.
In these nine months Bulma had fallen in love with him, because the dark-haired man had shown her enormous things that made Bulma's heart take a different course.
Goku was by her side all this time, from the morning star to the sunset of the day. He ate with her, talked with her, laughed with her, played with her, sang with her, walked with her, watched movies with her... if Bulma had to write a yearbook, without a doubt, Goku would be on every page. He was always by her side, without abandoning her...
From the first moment Bulma didn't know what to do when she found out that she was pregnant... she was at the height of her life and taking care of raising the baby would be infuriating, although after all it was her fault.
She started everything.
She even considered the idea of abortion...
However, Goku stayed by her side as promised, relieving her of that guilt that weighed on her heart, giving her support when she needed it most, Goku managed to make her smile in her moments of sadness, cheered up her gray days, filled her with positivism making her see a light at the end of the tunnel to get ahead. Goku created in her a point of fantasy and magic that he had never experienced before in her life.
Bulma never believed she would see Goku going shopping, Goku going into a movie theater, Goku changing diapers, Goku hugging her, Goku learning how to prepare a bottle, Goku making an effort to express himself with his daughter, Goku trying to carry to a baby, even Goku singing.
Hell, he did all of that for her, even he sacrificed some of her training hours to spend with Bulma. And he refused a plate of food to attend to Bulma's priorities!
How could she not have fallen in love with such a wonderful boy?
Bulma couldn't imagine a life without Goku by her side, he was as necessary in her life as the air she breathed. Her future daughter united them both, which allowed them to get to know each other and better than before throughout these months.
These last three months Bulma had time to sort out her feelings, she wanted to know what she felt for Goku, since she saw him less and less as a friend... she finally realized that she had fallen in love like never before. She had done and not mere physical attraction as on previous occasions but something much deeper... something magical and indescribable.
However, Goku's characteristic innocence was a huge problem for Bulma to finally declare her feelings for him.
Why?
Well, Bulma didn't want a relationship in which she was the one holding the reins and Goku was a puppet, as if she was "forcing" him to reciprocate her feelings... instead of it being something voluntary.
Of course not, Bulma wanted Goku to learn to better express her feelings and reciprocate the love she felt towards him, even if it took a long time for that. She didn't want to force him to love her or anything, so she still wasn't going for it.
"Maybe you get a surprise and Goku is also in love with you... except that he doesn't know how to express himself and tell you" Tights spoke, putting his index finger to her lower lip.
"Maybe... as you say he has hugged you twice and told you that you're beautiful, that's already a start" Fusui added, remembering a little the beginning of her relationship with Ken.
"It's better that they both be a couple, for my niece's future…" Tights added again, leaving Bulma thoughtful "Well, everything has its time... love will come when it has to come."
Bulma nodded keeping a thoughtful face, at the moment her priority was to give birth to her daughter, the rest could wait...
Everything has its time.
More later.
The fights continued to be successful for Goku and his friends, the vast majority of them managed to qualify for the final phase... except for Chaotzu. The little boy was the victim of the now semi-robotized assassin Tao Pai Pai, who had been seeking revenge on Goku and Tenshinhan.
Goku noticed the presence of Piccolo Daimaō's son, who had signed up under the name "Majunia" to go unnoticed. He had also qualified for the final phase, which consisted of about eight participants.
The draw having been made, the first match pitted the assassin Tao Pai Pai against Tenshinhan. The three-eyed man managed to avenge his inseparable friend Chaotzu and won the victory, at the cost of receiving a slit in the chest that left a good mark.
The second fight was going to face Goku and a girl who had preferred not to reveal her name.
Without problems, the dark-haired man went out to the combat mat, receiving messages of encouragement from his friends to win the fight.
"Cheer up Goku you can!"
Goku heard a familiar voice in the audience and turned to see who it was. He smiled as he made out a beautiful female figure he saw a few months ago in an ice cream parlor.
"Hi Akemi! How have you been?" Goku asked waving his hand in greeting.
"Very well! I hope you win this match Goku!" Akemi yelled quite happily and the dark-haired man showed him his thumb, smiling.
Akemi remembered the moment when her hero signed an autograph for her, she kept that napkin in a gold cabinet although because of a certain blue-haired girl she couldn't take a picture with him.
'This time I will have my photo and there will be no one to stop me' thought Akemi clinging to her wish.
"It seems that this time Son Goku is determined to win, let's see if his opponent says the same"
The referee dressed in a blond-haired suit with glasses released that comment while the black-haired woman who had claimed Goku before came out on stage.
Judging by his facial expression, she was quite angry, although Goku didn't realize it.
"Hello again!" Goku greeted "I hope we have a good fight" the boy spoke smiling cordially and the girl snorted.
"We hope that this second fight is just as exciting as the previous one..." intoned the referee while drums began to sound.
"BEGIN!"
With the referee's shout, the girl rushed towards Goku to try to connect a kick to the boy's torso, who calmly dodged that movement given by the black-haired girl.
"You fight pretty well!" Goku exclaimed excitedly as he stepped back to regain his position and go on the offensive.
"It's outrageous that you still don't recognize me Goku!" exclaimed the black-haired girl and Goku shrugged "It's me! Chi-Chi! How could you forget about me in just a few years?
"Aaaahhh it's you, I already remember you!!" Goku yelled pointing at her comically as he realized "You've changed a lot since the last time we saw each other hahaha!" he exclaimed smiling.
"Well, I knew you hadn't forgotten about me" Chi-Chi sighed smiling "I hope you haven't forgotten the promise you made me either"
"Promise?" Goku asked since he didn't remember doing anything like that before.
"Yes! W-when we were little you promised that we would get married, do you remember?" asked Milk somewhat blushing as he remembered that day.
"Ammmm..." muttered the dark-haired man as he wandered through his memories "Yes, I think I remember it now" he added with a tone... disappointing.
"So... will you marry me?" asked the girl, because that was her hope, she had traveled thousands of kilometers to find her beloved and she now hoped to marry him.
"Marry you?" inquired the black-haired man and the girl reluctantly nodded when she heard him "I'm sorry, Chi-Chi, but I won't do it" Goku denied completely and Chi-Chi opened her eyes quite surprised.
