"Quinn!" A boy called Quinn from the back
"Yeah?" Quinn replied
"What are you doin' in here? School's over! It's vacation! And you're still sitting in the classroom." the boy asked desperately.
Quinn, our boy, is still sitting in his classroom, contemplating on some quill. He had been quiet while gazing at the quill.
"I'm asking yuh something! "
"Mon! I'm-m I'm coming!"
"What are yuh waiting for?"
Montero scampers in questioning his mate till he got near to him. Quinn stays unpretentious while sitting on the middle row's first bench.
"Quinn! " he jolted his friend.
"What is this quill ?!"
Quinn was holding a white quill.
"I don't think I know! But 'tis something distinctive." He replied in a low-key voice. He stood up and turned to Montero.
"Where are others?"
"Waiting for yuh! Downstairs in the library."
"Ok, I'm coming."
"No, I'm takin' yuh with me right now!"
Mon held his arm and hauled him to the room where everyone was sitting meekly. A bevy of students of class X sitting on a round table in the corner
of the library . They looked upon the two boys as they entered, three girls, one with black hair and brown eyes and other two with brown hair and grey eyes.
"Hey, Quinn! We've been waitin' for yuh since last few periods." Vamiro addressed. "What were yuh doin' ?"
"Staring at some -
"Nothing!"
Quinn immediately interceded Montero. He looked at him and said,
"Zero! I just, I was-
"We don't wanna listen! We're already running out of time!" Samara exclaimed . Quinn frowned. They had gathered in the library to have some plans for their holidays. "So we're five! It means that five tickets for the amusement park! " Mon announced.
"Yup!" Jazz agreed, "But first I have to tell yuh guys a thing! I got a book in the library! And it's astounding!"
Everyone gave an absurd reaction to her. "You haven't done anything praising or plausible by finding a book in Lib!" complained Samara.
" I'm talking about this piece!" She said while showing up the book to her bevy. It was a thick, large, and blackish purple colored book tied with a rope. There was something grave about it, and Quinn felt that. Even Jazz faced problems while upheaving it. Then she plunked it down on the table. The front of the ledger had some large letters etched on it.
THE VOLUME OF SORCINTO- LEGENDARY REALMS ARE MEANT TO BE READ AS FANTASIES.
By THE UNKNOWN
Quinn contemplated with major attention. Out of the blue, Quinn's quill that he kept in his pocket began to glow, emitting a slight white and violet light. Quinn sensed it. He kept his hand under the table, on one of his thighs.
As he peeked under the table, he saw the happenings. Totally shocked by that stuff.
"What happened? Mr. late" Samara quizzed him.
"I gotta go to bathroom." he replied and sprinted towards the boys' washroom.
BOYS' WASHROOM
No one was there in washroom.
"What is this thing?!" He exclaimed. "I'm totally bothered and fed up of this! I don't know why!? Oh! By the way, never in a aeon has this washroom remained this silent and empty!"
"Because holidays are goin' on, stupid! " Samara divulged herself from the door of the back.
" 'Tis boys' washroom! Why the heck are ya here!" He upbraided her, "Get out!"
"Shut up! No one's in here! And as far as for you, then I knew what ya came here for." She replied unregretfully.
