As she approached, she saw some of her school friends. She was happy to see them as they were the only english speaking people she knew, despite the fact they have never spent time together out of school, at least for a little while she can have some company. As the day went on she eventually lost all her energy. Each hour felt like a day in itself. All she would do is watch the clock or chat to the person sitting next to her. She could speak japanese, although not fluently, it was good enough to get her in the school, and keep some company with whoever was around. She preffered English though, as she felt like her personality didn't translate well.Once school was done she the train back home and stopped by a convenience store to pick up a quick dinner.
She ate quite quickly, spent some time browsing on her phone before freshening up for her job. It was only four days a week, but it paid very well. She was an English teacher for adults and taught very well. She had the patience and enjoyed talking to people. Even though she had little enthuasiasm before work, once she got there it was as if she would transform into a completely different person. One with endless energy and smiles. It took its toll when she left. She checked her phone.
"23:30 huh?"
She jumped on her bike and rode home as fast as she could, she couldn't wait to have a warm bath before jumping into bed.
The bath was so comfortable she didnt want to get out, but it was getting really late now, and she still had a full week ahead of her. Steam filled up her bedroom as she opened the door. While she layed in bed, she felt as if she was laying in the clouds. Starting to drift off she could hear a voice calling out to her, was she dreaming?
