Nan Luo didn't immediately reply again. He looked at Qiu Xian deeply and then asked another question, "How long have you been part of my army, Qiu Xian?"
"Yes?"
"Did you remember the time when you were assigned under my command many years ago?"
Qiu Xian was originally an adjutant of another army. But because his commander died in the battle, he was assigned to Nan Luo and helped Nan Luo greatly. As a veteran soldier, Qiu Xian was more experienced than Nan Luo.
However, it was Nan Luo who was much better than him and grow as a commander. Thus, his role has been decreasing as Nan Luo's army grew.
"Yes?" Qiu Xian asked.
"Since you have been with me for so many years, I think you should know me quite well, Qiu Xian." Nan Luo took a deep breath. His eyes sharpened. "I don't accept people who are serving another person to be under my command."
