Cassie shut her eyes as the darkness of the black fire become, too, dark for her to keep her eyes open. The black fire targeting Jun quickly attacked him with a high speed.
Straightening his left arm he twirled a faint blue aura from his fist which looked pretty and mesmerizing and drew a line in the air with it while grabbing Cassie with his right arm.
The line drew by the mesmerizing sky like aura created a shield but it soon got destructed after facing the black fire.
Facing the shield the black fire loosened up a little bit of its power and turned into tiny sparks which attacked Jun from different sides forgetting its real aim which was only the part where Cassie was not present.
Kye eyes widened as he saw the tiny sparks of black flame going toward Cassie and to stop it he used his shield and together with Cassie, he ended up protecting Jun.
"That's why I told you to use me. Look he stopped the fire from coming toward us when I was in danger," Cassie whispered to Jun.
Jun annoyingly glared her, "Shut up, if it wasn't for your notorious idea, he wouldn't had attacked me at first".
She frowned and flinched as her eyes met Jasper's.
What is he glaring at me for? I can sense it, if he gets me here, I will be devastated! So.. I need to run either with Mr. Fox or alone.
"Give her back to me and I will do what you ask," he surrendered to Jun after feeling the fear of losing Cassie because of his foolishness to underestimate his opponent.
Cassie eyes big and baffled. She was stunned by Kye surrendering to Jun when at first he wanted to quickly end it by killing the fox.
What more amazed her was Kye surrendering for getting her back.
So, am I that important to him? But why? These questions were surrounding her mind and she was feeling anxious to know what was his real reason for keeping her when they barely knew each other.
"Give me back Sulli and I will return her to you," loudly Jun said.
Kye brows become furrowed and he started to think of the person who he called Sulli.
Seeing his dazed off face, Cassie was sure that there was no way Kye would really have the fox mate when all he liked was killing vampires.
She gulped feeling the tensed atmosphere between them and waited for either side to utter some word and destroy the eerie silence.
"I don't know anyone with this name," Kye replied calmly and glanced at Cassie who was silently staring him.
Jun breathed out furiously, "If not name then at least you should know the female fox you and your groups have abducted".
He wanted to refuse those words but he knew that even if he does that, it will not help him since Jun's suspicious eyes was not easy to sooth. Not getting a reply from Kye, Jun chuckled and let Cassie down.
He opened his clenched fist and a swirling blue icy flame surrounded it and turned into a sword which looked heavenly due to the light blue presence circling around it.
"It seems that only our death can decide who will win!" he said and with each step he took toward Kye, the cracked ground filled up with blue ice and crackled with his other step.
Cassie gulped seeing the situation becoming worse with every passing time while Kye was shocked by the fox who didn't used Cassie anymore and came toward him by himself.
Mr. Fox aka Jun only swung his sword once and the entire half room blasted within a second where Kye was standing.
The huge air that blew after the huge blast left Cassie amazed and shocked while her big hair continued to flutter around.
It's been more then 50 years for her to see such a fight again and she was not the main character of it but the other two who were foolishly fighting with each other.
Since the half of the room blew by Jun's power, the upper floor which was still intact looked eerie and Cassie stepped toward the hollow place from where the sky can be seen clearly.
She looked down after reaching the edge of the room to see Kye who was no where to be seen after the room blasted and even Jun flew past to chase after Kye.
She gulped and finally looked around. It was taking a whole lot of courage for her to do so because for some reason she was feeling afraid for Kye who seemed to disappear after the blast.
What am I afraid of? Even if he dies it has nothing to do with me! She tried to teach her anxious heart but was dumbfounded when she saw both of them fighting in the mid air.
Cruelly even blowing and slicing up the air with his sword, Jun tried to slice Kye together but Kye was only dodging it and that was weird.
He once again stopped using his power except for a circle which was helping him to stay in the air.
"Don't act recklessly and just stop using your power," Kye shouted and dodged another blow thrown at him.
"Hiding like a coward, you are tarnishing the wolves reputation, Kye Hart! Either you give my lover back to me or be ready to die… it's up to you," Jun shouted.
Cassie panicked seeing them recklessly fighting but she was a little relieved because Jun was still holding back his power to make sure that it doesn't affect humans living inside other buildings since the area was surrounded by many real state buildings.
Kye who was dodging rather then attacking had only one goal and that was to tire the fox and then have a peaceful talk with him but that doesn't seemed to be the case.
If Kye had really abducted his woman then he wouldn't have held back attacking. Either he would have started to attack or have returned back Sully or Sulli whatever but since he is dodging then that means he have seen through the trap created by the real antagonists.
Cassie finally came to a conclusion after understanding what the perpetrator really want. If the king of wolves and the only left fox fight among themselves and kill each other then it would profit there enemy.
And the one who really kidnapped the fox wife can only be the one who instigated it.
Kye subordinates were already there but they didn't dare to attack an extinct being without the permission of their boss. It was already a total mess and Cassie wanted to stop it but Jun didn't wanted to hear anything more then the words he was waiting to hear.
His craziness was increasing with each blow he was throwing at Kye. Unable to stare them like that any longer, Cassie who was about 40 feet higher then them, jumped down directly spreading her arms in the air aiming at their head to land safely.
Her aim was to safely land on either of their head which seemed closer but naked eyes can't really calculate the position of landing from far away and after she jumped with the thought of trying to stop the fox from acting on his intuition, she passed by them and rather then their head, Kye leg was the only luxury her small hand could reach.
My foolish mind really believed that I can land safely if I thought so, now look at my position I am hanging on by gripping hard on his leg.
Within a moment as she held on Kye, the blow originally swung toward Kye went toward her after he dodged it off without knowing that at that time, Cassie would grab his leg.
