Chapter 3 - 3. It just happened in the party

I waited to start my writing classes until a week passed. Mr. Cruz, the dean, liked my talent. He tried to find me a teacher who was going to help me further my writing skills. The Skyling College had about two years not enrolling students for writing classes. It was because none of the students showed interest in writing. To me, writing was my hobby. I used to earn my cents by writing articles at Rockline College, and I got a scholarship because of it. Most people were interested in reading some of my articles. Sometimes I was writing long stories, which were coming from my imagination and sometimes I was writing from the everyday life experiences. Because of my passion, Mr. Cruz promised to look for a teacher as soon as it was going to take. The week that followed, everyone was busy preparing for a welcome party for us the new students. It took Chris and Mariana days to win Mr. Cruz's heart. He wanted to delay the party, even though everyone was waiting for it. When they cornered him, he approved the party. Chris and Mariana were the best student presidents, and not to mention being a sweet couple too. Everyone adored them. Having a welcome party was part of a norm to Skyling College to make their new students to feel welcomed. The party was creating a mingling moment among ourselves, and it entertained us.

As usual, Triana and I went to the library when the college was dismissed. We were getting closer to each other. We were spending most of our times discussing our lessons, watching movies and sometimes she was helping me to write stories. She was interested in journalism classes and spent most of her time investigating on some matters to give me pieces of information to write stories for her. Even on the day of the party, we were busy with our writings while other students were busy getting ready for the party that was at night. I told her it was time for us to get ready for the party as the sun was setting. However, Triana wasn't sure whether she was going to attend the party, so I left her and I went straight to my room. When I reached my room, the door was locked. I could hear voices coming from inside, so I called Chris to open the door for me. As soon as Chris opened the door, I was surprised. He was with Leticia in the room, and she was on his bed laid half dressed. She didn't even react when she saw me, as if what they were doing was normal. I took my eyes back to Chris and asked him what was he doing with his girlfriend's little sister. Without regret, he confessed it wasn't their first time, and they were doing it without Mariana's knowledge. I couldn't believe it. Chris didn't want to change. I proceeded to my bed and greeted Leticia. She blushed before responding. I knew she felt uncomfortable by my presence. After that, she dressed up and left.

As soon as Leticia left, the other lover birds,—Jeff and Renata—joined us in our room. They were there to take us to the party. Chris asked them what the rush was since it was still half-past six after sunset. Jeff told Chris that they had to make a plan for the party. They both went outside the room, leaving Renata with me. She came to sit next to me on my bed and whispered into my ears while her hand massaged my shoulders. I couldn't believe it when she said she wanted a night with me. She came with her boyfriend and felt no shame in speaking like that to me. I held her hands, which she was then shoving under my shirt. I looked at her cobalt short hair and took my eyes down her face. Her saccharine lips looked blossom soft. She locked eyes with me. My imagination raced with what she wanted. I smiled and stopped myself from temptations. I stood up from the bed and asked what Jeff and Chris were discussing. She told me they were talking about the alcohol. After that, she continued explaining her relationship with Jeff, although I didn't ask her. Their relationship was only for college. Outside, Jeff had his main girlfriends, and she broke up with her outside boyfriend, so she wanted me. I told her I wouldn't date a girl who saw it easy to come to the boy's side at night. She tried to defend herself but soon realised that I didn't care. Jeff and Chris came back, and they told me about their discussion. After that, they wanted to wait for me to change my clothes for the party. I told them I needed to bathe first. They then said I was going to find them at the party and left.

Thereafter, I undressed at once, and went to the bathroom. I allowed warm water to fill the tub, and got inside it when it was at a half level. When I was about to wash my head, I heard a knock at the bathroom door.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"I told you. I just need a moment to remember with you."

I knew it was Renata. She confused me. I didn't know what I to do. She belonged to Chris' friend. When I was still thinking about what to do, she asked, "Can I come inside?"

"What, no! Don't come, I am already done bathing," I screamed, standing up from the tub.

She chose not to listen to me and opened the bathroom door. I took my towel and covered myself. When she was inside, she looked at me and closed the door. She removed her clothes at once. I failed to control myself as my eyes zoomed every inch of her well-curved brownish body. Her pear-shaped breast made my blood to boil. I couldn't stop myself. She slowly came to me and joined me in the tub. She held my shoulders, her eyes stabbing me. I held her waist, and we slowly sat down in the tub. We made love. The moment was so unavoidable. Renata got what she wanted. That moment with her changed me. I felt it in my body—I wasn't the same. We bathed, after that; we dressed and headed to the party. On our way to the party, no one was talking to the other. When we were at the entrance, we went our different ways. I went to the counter where there were many drinks and I grabbed one bottle to quench my thirst. Renata disappeared within the crowd, which was dancing to the high-volume music.

Everything looked so fabulous, and students were enjoying. I looked around for Chris and I saw him with his other crew friends—Leticia, Triana, Mariana, Veronica and Jeff. At that instant, Renata joined them. She surrendered herself to alcohol and emptied the two glasses of wine that Mariana gave to her. Everyone looked drunk, judging by behaviours except Triana, who was still by herself. I went to them and planned to tell Chris about my moment with Renata, but I couldn't. I didn't know where to start. We continued enjoying until it was eight p.m. The party was then quiet; some students were gone back to their rooms. Only a few of us remained in the hall. Mariana proposed a game—spin the bottle. Chris disagreed to play. He never liked that game, even at high school, because the game never ended well for him. It always ended embarrassing him in front of the girl he crushed. The rule of the game was simple—if someone spun the bottle and it points to two people, the spinner will command them to do anything of wish. Our game began. It went well with wishes, simply getting harder as the game proceeded. It came a time for Mariana to spin the bottle. She held the bottle with her long fingers and spun it. The bottle pointed at Veronica and me. Mariana didn't want to make it easy. She asked us to kiss each other in front of everyone since Veronica and I were single. Veronica was drunk, so she didn't think twice kiss me. She removed her blouse, leaving her upper body covered by only a bra. When I tried to stop her, everyone went against it. We continued kissing until Triana went away, while Renata stood watching, her eyes blazing with jealous.
