"I just started learning the ropes and I will make a lot of mistakes when fighting, I think you should never leave my side when we are in battle, that way you can protect me more efficiently and it will lessen your overprotective nature triggering your dark and cool side." I smiled at her.
"That's a good idea I should have always fought near you from the beginning."
"Don't use your overpowered spells and skills okay."
Aeverie nodded and we got ready for the incoming creature of bones and dried flesh.
Light steps echoed as the draugr lumbered towards the duo who stood side by side.
The ancient slightly torn black robe which touched it's toes pointed out that it was a mage.
The draugr held the long staff with it's left hand and took a stance.
We swiftly parted as I ran along the right side, and she darted to the left, my hands glitterd with blue sparks before I raised my arm and lightning bursted from my hands, at the same time a stream of black-purple fire was headed towards the draugr.
It curled it's boney fingers up and a wall of rocks rose from the ground blocking the lighting at the same time whirlwind manifested from the staff and blown away Aeverie's flames.
The draugr wildly swang it's hand forth and the huge blocks of rocks flew towards Kean, he's heart ceased at that moment, despite seeing the incoming danger he sprinted forward without fear knowing a certain someone would know what to do.
All the rocks completely flew to the sides and Kean emerged in the middle catching the draugr by surprise, Kean punched it hard in the torso, he's brute strength sent it staggering back. Aeverie instantly casted shadow spikes, spikes rose from underneath the draugr in addition with Kean's spell fire blast which he casted after punching it.
All those attempts were ineffectual as the creature sensed the danger coming from beneath and the side.
The ball of wind was extinguished, Kean crouched down as he felt the immense wind pushing him back. The violent tornado had lifted the draugr in the air although it escaped all attacks, the shadow spikes only managed to barely pierce it's leg.
The draugr landed far in the corner.
"I think we should finish this quick." Aeverie whisperd in my ear.
"Just one favour, make sure that I get the kill."
We turned our attention at the ear splitting noise that came from the cracking walls, I looked up as I sensed something coming, the walls collapsed, purple shield enveloped around us before we were buried by boulders.
The draugr growled in anger and pointed it's staff releasing a ball of wind which blasted off the rocks but left the shield unscattered.
Nodding in affirmation Aeverie paced towards the draugr, as it was about to attack another girl like Aeverie appeared on it's side and maneuverd forward. The draugr started hearing whispers coming from all directions, along with four Aeverie's lookalikes who kept appearing and vanishing in multiple locations, it led the draugr to be unable to do anything as it couldn't comprehend where to attack, and he's targets sometimes vanished in a blink of an eye.
As the draugr was lost in the maze of endless illusions created by Aeverie, a hand grasped it's head hard and pummeled it on the wall cracking it's skull, in addition with an explosion that occurred as intense fire radiated from where everything took place, flames were scattered everywhere.
Kean gazed at the draugr who's head was eradicated from existence by he's fire blast spell, along with the rest of it's body which slowly melted under the lingering flame.
'That will be some nice xp.' Kean thought in bliss as the corner of his lips slowly rose.
After Layla healed my wound Aeverie emitted her mana in the stone pillars, they glowed in multiple colours and everything took place like the last time I used the stones to travel, in a flash we were transported into another dimension.
"Wow this place is fascinating."
Layla stared at the white-ish crystals on the ceiling far up which made it look like the sky, the crystals illuminated the entire place, they weren't too bright as you could glimpse up without getting eye strains. The house on our left looked ancient, but what stood out the most was the short grass which coverd the whole area, coupled with a few trees on sight. From where we stood burbling sounds could be heard showing that a small stream of water was nearby.
"The mana fragments in here are very strong." Aeverie commented.
'Last time I was in a cave, system what is this place?'
"I believe this place was built inside a cave or a dungeon by someone." The system answered.
'So we are still in some sort of cave alright.'
"Wonder around and you will eventually stumble across walls." It replied
We paraded around until we found a door in the middle of the two trees which stood tall, it wasn't built in a building, just a door standing tall on it's own but we knew it led somewhere not exactly here.
As usual Aeverie and I were going to check it out. I opened the door and stared trying to gather my courage, why on earth would someone walk inside a room with weird symbols, they were also candles which surrounded some circle drawn in the middle.
When we entered inside and closed the door it vanished.
The only source of light came from the candles, the empty ruined place had crackes everywhere and cobwebs.
"Only one of you must step inside the circle." A voice echoed everywhere.
"What does the circle do?" Aeverie inquired.
"This is a gift for making it to this place but only one person shall receive it."
We all pondered, it might be a trap who knows. As if hearing our thoughts aloud the voice spoke again.
"Don't be afraid mortals, I guarantee you it's safe, if you don't want to receive this gift I will gladly send you back."
I really want to grow stronger, high risk high rewards!
"I think you should receive the gift." Aeverie affirmed.
Although I was thrilled I tried my best to remain calm. "Why?"
"If it grants you power you need it more than I do."
I slowly lumbered inside the circle, the weird symbols gleamed blue then everything outside the circle became blurry.
"Mortal I will now grant you your deepest desire." The voice echoed again.
"My deepest desire." I muttered under my breath.
A memory of a gorgeous girl who was very charming, calm and collected appeared in my mind, she always had my back and we had lot's of fun in the moments we shared together, such a sweet soul.
