After appearing in a white room I immediately saw three glowing cards with a picture and description on them. The first had a picture of a human, but it had blood dripping from its mouth with elongated canine teeth in the top row. It's sclera were pitch black with golden irises. The description said "vampire/werewolf/witch hybrid: powerful creatures of the night combined to make an even more powerful hybrid werebeast." The second card had many pictures flashing all at once, with many half man half beast creatures. The description said "were beasts are powerful shapeshifting creatures. Each possessing a transformation based on species. The were beasts transformations all have the head of the animal, body of a human with animal features. Example werewolf & werebear." The third card was just a picture of a question mark, and the description read "random mythological/monstrous creatures."
'Hmm which should I choose' I thought as they all looked to be very good choices, the genii also made it a little bit more of chance with the last two cards. I was starting to get excited about the possibilities but was kind of scared of getting something boring like the first choice. I don't really like the thought of being something so twentyfirst century. guess I'll go with the second card. As it feels the most balanced option.
After thinking about my options, I immediately poked the second card. "Were-beasts selected" a voice suddenly said. I looked around but no one was there. I realized that it was the system I asked for but in ai form. "Ai what's next " Questioning what was happening, because after poking the card it disappeared in a small flash of light, with little sparkles falling in the air, and then dispersing into thin air before touching the ground. "Roulette process has begun, waiting for options you'll get three more cards but all will be random were-beast."
Okay well Ig I'll wait a few minutes. As I sat and waited. I realized I had my human body from when I died. I was actually quite handsome. I was six foot five inches tall. I had long white hair.my bangs hung down in my face. My body was well toned, and I had a fit body. Like a model or a gymnast. Just when I was done observing myself. Three more cards appeared. First was a picture of a mans body,with a bear head covered in fur. It was at least eight feet tall, and it's body was nothing but sheer muscle . The description on the card read "a mythical beast that is half bear, and half man.".
The second had the picture of a mans body, with a alligator head and tail . The description said "a mythical beast that is half alligator, and half man". The third had no picture just a name, and description of the were beast. The card said "weredemon: a powerful mythical werebeast that has many types of werebeast genes, and demonic powers." 'Cool' I thought as I selected the weredemon card. The other two were plain, and boring to me.
After I selected the card the scenery changed and I was in darkness again but it was different this time. It was like I was in a really slimy oval container. I felt weak, and really tired. I couldn't control my body that well either. Soon I fell asleep from the tiredness.
When I awoke I was laying on the ground in a cave by myself. 'Hmm this is weird' I thought. 'If I was born then were are my parents and siblings' Was what I was thinking, as I looked at the egg shell like material on the cave ground. But as I look at my body I looked a little too big to be just born. 'I should get moving I'm hungry' I thought as my stomach gave off a low pitched growl that reverberated through the cave.
As I still felt a little week I got up slowly. Then proceeded to walk out of the cave into the moonlight. 'How do I open this system thing I have' I thought as I walked out of the cave into a small field surrounded by a thick dark forest. [master you can open your system menu at will just by thinking about it]. "Who are you?" I said aloud only to be surprised by my voice. It sounded like a young mans voice.

[you also don't have to speak out loud to talk to me master. Just think it in your head and I will hear it]. The ai said in its monotonous voice. 'Okay ty ai' I thought as I Began thinking about the system menu. The menu appeared in front of me as a big screen that I could touch, and with just a thought select the features that weren't locked. I selected the very top selection which was status. Another menu appeared showing various attributes, and other information about me. Like my level, health, dexterity , strength, endurance, intelligence, wisdom, mana, and skills.
My health stat was 100 being the highest stat out of all of them. My dexterity was 40, while my strength was 70, and my intelligence was at 80. While Wisdom was at 35. I currently have only three skills, the first one's name was gene absorption. The description of the skill stated I was able to absorb other were-beast genes. As I was walking through the field to the forest messing with my system. a group of people had stealthily jumped through the forest tree tops on the massive tree branches, to the edge of the forest. They watched as I slowly kept walking towards them.
They watched in suspicion as to why I was walking aimlessly waving my arms around, and naked in the middle of this forest. Till I was just under them at the edge of the forest. Then their leader jumped down, startling me so I quickly closed the menu. "What is your name boy?" The man said as he look at the young boy he had a thought. 'What if I take this boy into our group and take care of him. Maybe he'll have undying loyalty to us, and do things we tell him to'. The man thought as a devilish-smile spread on his face under his mask.
"I am Alphonse" I said with a smile. "Nice to meet you Alphonse, here's how this is going down join my group or die." The bandit leader said to me in a menacing tone. "Why should I join you" I said back unfazed by the mans words. "Because I'm telling you to or you can die instead" the bandit leader said, as he stepped forward to hit with his fist that flashed with little yellow lightning sparking off his fist.
Before he could hit me though , I jumped back with all my strength , and ended up flinging myself about twenty feet away. After I jumped back the bandit leader had called his subordinates down with a hand signal…
