Screeches echoed in the cavern as the wildspawn rushed at Uria and her troops. They were of all shapes and sizes, some as large as a small building, while others as small as a horse. Aether narrowed his eyes and prepared to leap off of Uria's mount.
He ignored the wildspawn and focused on the seven humans instead. These men and women had somehow created these rifts – he needed to stop them at all costs.
Uria clicked her tongue, and her mount leapt into the air moments before crashing into a large wildspawn. Aether pushed himself off of the mount, onto the wildspawn. His feet touched the mold covered skin of the large creature, and he pointed down. "Burn!"
The creature burst into flames as Aether leapt off of it and landed on the ground not too far away. Several wildspawn screeched and dashed towards him, but Uria and her solders were quick to block their way with their blades and mounts.
