The tall, young nobleman brushed his golden hair back and raised his chin with pride. "I am heartbroken to see you immediately show distrust towards your own troops." He scowled. "It's not a good start, if I were to be honest. You do not inspire much confidence, as it is."
A faint smile flashed across Aether's lips. "Is that so?" He asked, straightening his back. "I appreciate your bringing these worries to my attention, Lord Vincent, but I am going to have to ask you to stay focused to the problem at hand." He pointed up, and around them. "The wildmagic barrier has failed us once. I need to make sure such an incident will not happen again."
Lord Vincent's expression twisted. His lips curled down with a frown as he folded his arms. "You are talking about the incident that happened in the library." He stated.
Aether nodded once and raised his left eyebrow.
