Aether knocked on the door and waited for a response. A few moments later, the door creaked open on its own. He sighed and stepped inside.
"Madam," He said with a soft voice as he entered Madam Yotsura's office. This place was not as fancy as the Lord's office, nor was it as spacious. The decorations were simple, the only thing that could be considered lavish was the tapestry on the back side of the room, hanging on the wall. It depicted a group of people traversing a cavern.
The other walls of the room were covered in bookshelves. The Madam's desk was right under the large tapestry. There was another desk to Aether's right, where a very annoyed Iris was shuffling through documents.
"Ah, you've arrived!" The Madam said with an almost cheerful voice. She got up from her seat, walked around her desk and approached him. "Walk with me," She said, gently touching his shoulder as she walked past him, back outside.
Aether nodded and followed her.
