A large shadow passed over him, and as someone landed behind him from the air, a large, black beast rushed at the nearest crab.
"Keep your focus, Aether." A voice filled with power sounded. Madam Yotsura entered his view as she slowly walked towards the beasts. "Make sure those rifts are closed once and for all." Her intoxicating voice rang in his ears as she approached the crabs.
Pearl, her mount, clawed at the nearest crab's eyes to no avail. While pear struggled to even scratch the crabs, she had bought enough time for Madam Yotsura to prepare a spell.
The Madam extended her right hand forward, with a motion that was hardly fitting for battle. Her graceful motions were accompanied by the weaves of magic circling her. Her mana rose and rushed forward as her spell activated.
