"Where are you three going?" Lady Luna's voice startled the trio shortly after they left Iris' room. She had noticed them just as they were about to leave the common room, heading outside.
Freya flinched. "I, uh, we-"
"Freya is my friend." Iris calmly responded, cutting off Freya. "As is Fen, her brother. We are going to get some food. Is there anything you need, Lady Luna?"
Freya gulped. It was difficult to keep smiling as this sour taste spread in her mouth.
"I see." Lady Luna sighed. She had dark circles under her eyes. Had she even slept at all? "Don't wander off, we don't know what may have come closer to the coliseum since the veil was broken. I was told it would take at least a week to recreate it, so be wary."
Iris nodded. "We will, don't worry. If there is nothing else…?" She gestured towards the entrance. Lady Luna nodded and headed back to her room. Once she entered her room and closed the door, Freya breathed a sigh of relief.
