"I won't tell you where he is." The man repeated. He sighed. "I will tell you the last thing he asked of me." He hesitated. "It was almost a threat, actually." He added with a chuckle, then turned his attention towards the door. "He didn't have a wish he wanted fulfilled, so he asked me to give his chance of a wish to you, Freya." He sighed and got up. "He claimed that his existence in the tournament was akin to cheating, and that he felt he unfairly took away your chance."
Freya's eyes opened wide. "What?" She whispered.
"So, once your grandfather comes back, you can wish for something. Choose it wisely." He headed to the door. "I'll check up on the committee. You two wait here." The sound of the door closing followed his footsteps, and the room fell into silence as both Freya and Fen remained stunned.
"I…" Freya muttered. He had asked her what her wish was. Had he planned this from the start, she wondered.
