It was so, so far away that he couldn't even see the flow of magic in the creature's body.
"What the hell are you three doing here?" A voice sounded. Aether lowered his gaze from the massive creature and looked down, at Ingrid. "Get back inside! It's not safe!" She shouted as she pointed at the coliseum.
"She's not wrong!" Fen said, grabbing Freya's arm. "Is there anything we can even do to this thing?"
Freya shook her brokers hands off of herself. "You can't know before you try." She turned her gaze on Aether. "What's your plan?"
Aether's lips formed a thin line. "We need to get closer to it." He muttered. "Fen, from how far away can you make your barrier last?"
The young redhead hesitated. "About a hundred meters, but the further it is, the weaker it gets."
Aether clenched his fists.
