"So, can you do it?" Erika asked Aether with a huge smile. Her eyes sparkled with excitement.
"Uh," The young man hesitated. "Physical combat isn't exactly my forte, but sure." He had seen her fight against that giant bug before, it was clear she had extensive physical training. Possibly more than him.
"It's fine – we'll be using magic too." Erika said with a smile. "I was originally going to train with Seth, but apparently he has to visit his home. He left about an hour ago." As soon as she finished speaking, she focused her attention on her rather full plate.
"How about, uh, you try chewing your food?" Aether dared suggest as she cleaned up her plate in a matter of seconds.
"I did!" She said after gulping down her last bite. "Why don't you eat?" She asked, then gulped down her orange juice.
"I am eating." Aether said, taking a bite out of his toast. "I'm just not in a hurry like you."
