Ryuu sat down at his desk, looking out of the window of his classroom. As soon as he put his backpack down, the bell rang.
The teacher came in through the door and greeted everyone. The class greeted the teacher back, led by the class representative. The first subject of the day was science, one of Ryuu's favorite subjects.
After presenting everyone in the class that he'll have them do a quick test after discussing the topic of today's science, he wrote down all the things they need to learn and memorize.
Ryuu has mastered almost all of the sub-subjects of science. But there was one that he couldn't do, and still doesn't know why he needed to know about that subject. And that was—
—Astronomy.
.
"Alright, hands up in the air!"
The class hurriedly pulled up their hands and put them near the heavens. Some pencils rolled down and rolled around the floor. And for them, the ones that owned those pencils, were permitted to grab them but they had to keep one hand up high.
Mister Kawasaki—the science teacher of one B—walked around the whole classroom. He walked between tables, grabbing the sheets of papers that the students had written on.
These are the test papers.
He made a full one eighty turn and walked towards the other side of the room, grabbing each and everyone's papers.
Once done, he went back to the front of the class and called it there.
The class representative stood up and told everyone to bow down to end the first period of class.
"Wooh… that was tiring…"
Everything for him was easy, but writing all of it was hard. And Ryuu isn't the type of person who would write something on paper. He would rather use a laptop to write his essays than using paper. For him, it was only a waste of pencil and paper.
The second period of school went smoothly for him. And before he knew it, it was already lunch and everyone had their own friends to eat with. Meanwhile Ryuu sat in his chair.
He brought food for lunch but he wasn't hungry yet.
"Wow! Wow! Wow! What's with the new look Tanaka?"
"Hm?"
Ryuu turned to look at who said his looks were new.
Fact is, Ryuu did wear a new look. Since when did he change his looks? In his school, no one knows when he did change it. One day, he just changed and everyone didn't dig into it.
"Did something happen?"
"No, nothing that will interest you…"
Ryuu took another glance outside of the window and then back to the person he was talking to, now their faces pouting like they were unsatisfied.
"No! Seriously! Nothing that all interesting"
"But something happened, right?!"
"Well… yeah, something did happen"
"So what happened to you?!"
"Why should you care——"
Ryuu stopped his words from his mouth as soon as a deadly stare was shot from her—Sato Tomoe—who was curious and concerned about Ryuu's current state. She knew something was up with Ryuu because Ryuu wasn't the type who would care about looks.
Ryuu sighed and loosened his shoulders.
"I'll tell you once school is done"
"Alright! I'll be waiting near the gates"
