Chapter 7 - chapter 7

King and Queen Kaushalya could not believe it.

The king left everything and walked fast towards Kaikeyi's palace. He called out to the queen but did not get a reply. The king looked around in the palace but the queen was not found, suddenly his gaze went towards Kop Bhawan, Kaikeyi, draped in a black sari, looked like a dark night, as if the sun had been eclipsed. Fearing evil, the king went to the queen and asked,

"Oh dear, why is there this filthiness today? Today is the coronation of your beloved son."

Kaikeyi looked at the king with devoured eyes. The king was shocked, he had not seen this form of the queen before.

"Dear son? Whose favorite son? Kaushalya's? I don't have any dear son, my son is Bharat, whom you have sent a conspiracy to his maternal grandmother."

The king said,

"It's not like that dear, all four sons are the same for me."

Kaikeyi looked at king with weird gaze

"Okay! If that had happened, you would have done justice."

The king tried a lot to persuade Kaikeyi but she was not agreeing. After repeatedly pleading with the king, Kaikeyi asked the king to give his two promises. Kaikeyi reminded that

"You had said that when the time comes, you can ask for both your promises whenever you want."

Kaikeyi said,

"Today I want both the promises you gave me. Fulfill them today."

The king smiled and said,

"Ask the queen of my heart, I keep my word, you can ask for both of your promises."

Kaikeyi said,

"Rajan! You will not go back on your words, you will not be distracted."

Rajan said,

"I belong to Raghukul (raghav clan). Even if the life is gone, the word will not go."

Kaikeyi said again,

"Rajan! Don't hold back, I am asking for both my words."

The king also said firmly,

"I keep my word."

So Queen Kaikeyi looked at the king with a sharp gaze and said,

"Give a promise that Bharata will become the king and..."

"And what a queen"

the king asked impatiently

"And the second word..."

After saying this, the queen stopped for a while, her lips trembled, her tongue forgot to speak .

The king shook the queen and asked,

"Queen, I am ready to make another promise as well."

The queen said,

"Rama's exile for fourteen years"

The king asked,

"What did you say?"

"Rama's exile..."

The king fell down, as if life had gone out of his body. The queen had no effect on this, she is standing in front of king like a tree in the forest stood insolently with ruthlessness. Tears started flowing from the eyes of the king and he was saying in words of pleading to the queen.

"Even if you give the kingdom to Bharat, don't take away my Ram from me, don't separate me from me, you become the empress of the whole kingdom, but don't take out Ram as Pran(life line) from my Ayodhya body."

Even the delirium of the king did not affect the queen. Seeing the silence in Ayodhya, a servant sent a message to Rama that Queen Kaikeyi was in the palace and King Dasharatha was trying to persuade her.

Ram barefoot ran towards Mata Kaikeyi's room. Seeing this condition of his beloved mother, Ram's heart came out, tears started flowing from his eyes, holding his lotus feet, Ram started crying. Mata Kaikeyi, stumbling him with his feet, threw him away and said in a hoarse voice,

"You are the one responsible for my condition."

Ram asked.

"Mother, what's wrong with me?"

Suddenly his eyes fell on his father, as if an idol of helplessness and helplessness was in front of him. He also took the father and asked,

"Father! What is it that makes Mother so angry?"

Father's tongue was sealed. Mother said,

"I have asked for two promises, the throne to Bharata and the exile of fourteen years to you."

A smile appeared on Ram's face, he held the feet of his mother and said,

"Mother! Your command is the head. Mother's place in the world is considered higher than father, I will obey your orders."

Saying this, Ram went towards his room, he ordered his servant to bring the clothes of the forest dweller, the servant immediately obeyed.
