Her blonde her is a mess of waves falling into her face, casting shadows over her ocean blue eyes. Her cheekbones are straight and well defined. Oh God, her lips. They look full and soft.
Her biceps bulges beneath her shirt which grabs the attention of some girls as they whisper amongst each other. "this girl can make a straight girl bend" that was the thought of a girl who was obviously thinking out loud. But there's one thing I agree with them is that she looks so beautiful.
Just like how I remembered but too bad her personality is so full of shit.
My phone vibrates and I see that it's a text from my mom.
Mom: Meet us at the office after school today. Important family business
Me: Okay Mom

After lectures was finished for the day. I quickly shove my notebook and pens inside my bag and rush out of the class. I get into my car and start driving home to my parents office. My car is going so much faster than it should be, I almost ran into a traffic light and almost hit a random passerby trying to cross the road and I'm quite surprised that I didn't get pulled over for going way past the speed limit.
When I finally reach Conor tech headquarters, I park my car a few blocks away to avoid having to find parking in the building. After shutting the car door, I start to run.
I scan my card on the elevator and it took me to the 58th floor where my parents office were. I watch the floor number displayed on the panel as the elevator increases. My hands are shaking as I take my phone to check for more messages from my parents but none, I guess they already know I'm here.
When I reach the 58th floor, the elevator door bursts open. Taking a deep breath, I stepped forward and inspect my surroundings. The atmosphere was totally contrast compared to the ground floor where everyone was talking and chatting at the same time, there was almost nobody here. I walk into the hallway and finally spot my Mom.
She had a very sad expression on her face like somebody was going to die or something. When she faces me I noticed her cheeks were flushed.
"Lizzie" she murmurs and I fall into her arms. I don't care that barely talked throughout the week. We hugged for what seems like forever but was only ten minutes. Her warmth enveloping me, it has been a long time since we hugged. I missed her hugs so much.
When I finally pull back I ask what was the Matter.
"Lizzie", she pulls me by the waist and kisses my forehead, a rare form of affection she barely gives."I don't know how to tell you this but.... You are already BETROTHED to the daughter of the CEO of Rays consolidate.
