"Are you okay?"
The nth time I was asked the same words today. Although it didn't show on my face, it was annoying. Alpha Rohan sat down beside me along with his overnight bag. He's set to travel back home today. I bowed my head a little for the greeting.
"Are you going to share some of your wisdom again, Alpha?" I jest. Sharing some of his wisdom would be appreciated a great deal and I would totally understand if he hates me. A man from my pack was one of the possible causes why Vengeance existed.
"I do hope I can help. After all, this is going to be your decision, your choice, on how you're going to approach the information. You cannot be investigating when you're blaming yourself at the same time," he grinned. "There'll be a point where your judgment would be clouded and I hope it wouldn't happen," the blunt answer was good enough to knock some sense into my brain.
