The pack was in uproar. Before everyone could mob Dion and Lauren, I guided them out of the training ground. Kalix was following me, eyes back and forth looking at the couple and me. I let him. I have to prioritize the two first, well, Dion because the man looks confused, and scared.
I grabbed Dion's arm to ground him. He looks ready to fly. Lauren saw what I did and gave me a sizing look.
"I don't know what this is, but you need to remove your hand, Mavis. I'm feeling an overwhelming urge to thrash you right now," Lauren warned me, unsure. It's right of her to warn me, but I don't have time for her possessive streak just yet.
"Don't talk to her like that," Dion snapped from his thoughts and gently warned Lauren.
"Why not?" Lauren curiously asked. Frown forming on her forehead. I meddled.
