Arabella's looking at me like I was about to keel over. I shook my head at her. Knowing what Atlas went through the last years won't make me faint. It does make me feel sad for him, but I've been through my own kind of hell too.
"Who managed the pack while he went lone?" I curiously asked. The strawberry smoothie was really good so I took a gulp, waiting for Arabella's answer.
"Derrick took over guided by Nana. He's now the Beta of the pack," Arabella proudly smiled at me. I smiled in return. Things definitely changed the last time I was here. Certainly, I feel happy for Atlas. Finally, he had someone he can rely on with pack duties.
"Luna, are you not going to consider Alpha Atlas again?" She asked all of a sudden and I almost sprayed the smoothie all over her face. The drink went down the wrong pipe so I vigorously hit my chest.
