Adrian really hated this. He had been walking for three hours and he was tired. Along his walk to a high building, he could properly see what was happening in the city and gain a slight understanding of the amount of destruction. He regretted it barely half an hour later. He had not met one, not two, not three monsters, but seven different monsters. He had managed to kill two of the seven but he quickly realized that he stood no chance against the 'real' monsters five out of the seven he could tell by a glance that he stood no chance, and it was a miracle he had even survived this long.
Adrian stumbled on the ruins of the road. His feet hurt like hell and he really needed to take a break so he decided to rest in the ruins near the Commonwealth Plaza. (AN: alternate version of Republic Plaza except for a bit taller) Before the apocalypse Commonwealth Plaza was owned by the LYRE corps. It was also the place his mother worked. From what he could remember his mother was somewhat of a high-ranking employee, so she might be protected by someone hopefully.
Adrian carefully moved into the building and checked around to make sure there were no monsters. Nothing. Adrian let out a sigh of relief and sat down on the cold floor with his back to the hallway wall he was in
Adrian: Geez, I'm really, tired. I've been walking non-stop for three hours, but the things living I found are the monsters. I wonder if mom's okay?
Adrian quickly shook his head. "Positivity is key, remember." Adrian remained himself. At that moment heard a sound that sounded like someone or something stepping down a hall. He froze in place and grabbed a knife and unsheathed it. he just hoped it wasn't something he couldn't fight. Then from around the corner came a... girl. The girl looked to be around the same age as him. She was a bit taller than Adrian who was 5.9.
She had Red hair that almost looked purple with irises that matched her hair. Her face under circumstances her face would have looked like porcelain, but due to the dirt on her face and body and ragged clothes, she looked like she was from a poor family. But you see dear reader Adrian doesn't know this girl. But in fact, many people knew who she was since she and her family appeared on TV a lot due to tabloids and rumors. The girl in front of him was the daughter of the CEO of LYRE and one of the world's greatest prodigies.
A wild girl whose name isn't yet known: ....Be careful with that knife.
Adrian: .....(Did she experience trauma or something to make her dumb? Or was this girl already like this?)
