Xanthippeia had been submerged under the water in the tub for ten minutes, she could breathe just fine but she liked the feeling of being light-headed because it helped to soothe all the memories of last night.  On earth it was it wouldn't be morning for several hours but she was worried about the mess they left behind. The house was a mess, destroyed in fact. Her family and her friends were missing and their parents would probably be worried sick. Police were going to be involved and it was all a catastrophe she had no idea of explaining away.

So yes feeling the thumping of her pulse and holding her oxygen intake made her feeling like she had some of the weight lifted off her shoulders for a few minutes. She had been soaking and cleaning herself up for the past hour and she had no intention of leaving this tub.
