It had been a stressful few days for Xanthippeia since everything went down at Carey's house. She was trying really hard to not her best friend's relationship make it a focal point in her life because there was so much more to worry about. Like looking at her friends the same way after what Mason said was still ringing in her ears. Of course, she was not angry or didn't distrust them now with the way they felt because it did actually seem like Xan was the common denominator in their relationship even though she did not see it that way.
