"Carey why weren't you in school today?" was the first question Xanthippeia asked her friend when she showed up at her house to give her some English notes she missed.
"Hey Xany, what the hell are you doing here?"
"Hello I've been trying to reach you all day, I got worried when you didn't show."
"Right sorry I haven't been on my phone and switched it off." It had been such a weird day without her mainly because Carey was always there even when she isn't, never misses a day and Xan found herself feeling lonely the whole day without her friend.
"You didn't tell my moms did you?"
"No, because they probably thought you were at school. What's going on, are you okay?" she asked looking at her friend who still hadn't bothered to let her through the door.
"I'm fine and I'll be at school tomorrow, I'm just busy right now."
