*On Earth*
"Xany honey, it's mom open up." I was ten at night when Stella Castiano went knocking on her daughter's bedroom door.
When she got home hours ago her husband had warned her that Xan might be in a mood considering she ran upstairs without a word when she came home from school and hadn't come down since. The family of three sat down to have dinner sans Xan because they didn't want to disturb her but before bed, Stella thought she might try to find out what was going on with her daughter.
"Sweetheart you didn't come down for dinner, are you not hungry?" she tried again when she didn't get a response.
"Xan, are you alright in there?" Her knocking was a tad more forceful this time as a small amount of panic crawled into her, it was entirely too quiet in that room.
"I'm fine, go away!" Finally, Xanthippeia's irritated voice rang through and her mother was taken aback by the attitude.
