It has now been a month since Saibus read his ancestor's diary. The diary contains a lot of information about Eden and the precursors because Hecate wrote some of her knowledge inside the journal. It also reveals the island's location and warns that only people with the blood of the precursors can enter the island under pain of eternal suffering. Saibus believes that she used mighty magic to seal the entrance and prohibit people not possessing the blood of a precursor.
Saibus is currently before the Council of the Order.
"Saibus, tell us why you wanted to meet us," Lars says with a questioning expression shared by all Council members. After all, Saibus never asked anything of the Council or the Order in general. So seeing him ask for an audience with them is very unusual for him.
"Yes, that must be important. Otherwise, you could have just told me, and I would have passed it on to the rest of the Council." declares a certain redhead with a slightly sulky voice. Saibus and the rest of the Council smiled at Trinity's childish behavior. After all, because of their apprentice-mentor relationship, Saibus and Trinity share everything about the Order. However, this time Saibus did not warn Trinity, which she took a bit worse, but they all know that Trinity will be angry with her for an afternoon before forgetting.
Trinity's remark lightened the tense atmosphere in the room to become lighter. Not knowing if her foster mentor and aunt did this on purpose, but thanks her inwardly. After all, he doesn't like coming here because the atmosphere in the Council Chamber is always stifling.
"I have requested a hearing with the Council to request a leave of absence for a year or two maximum." Saibus clearly asks.
"What why!" Trinity screams upon hearing Saibus's request. The other members all raised eyebrows at Saibus's odd request. After all, when an assassin takes time off, it's to take a break from missions for a few months at most but not a whole year or more. In addition, the murderers who take time off are often elderly and think about quitting or keeping a hiding place. It surprises the Council then that a young twenty-year-old assassin wishes to take a leave of absence. Especially Saibus which takes more missions than necessary.
Saibus sighs at Trinity's exclamation, he knows her character and hopes she doesn't scream in front of the Council but apparently he was hoping too much.
'She's going to get boring the next time I visit her.' thinks Saibus tired.
"Why do you want such a long vacation, Saibus," Shanks asks.
"I want to visit a place that matters to me, go there, study there and come back can take a year or two if I encounter unforeseen circumstances," Saibus said.
Council members know that Saibus willfully omitted to say where the place he plans to visit is and what he is going to do there. But, hearing that this place is important to him, they know it has to do with his family because apart from his deceased family, Yennefer, Trinity and the Order, and others, Saibus doesn't consider anything important.
"We can know why this place is important?" Elena asks quietly with her angelic voice.
"Yes, I want to research the history of my family, the Auditore, and find out who my ancestor is," Saibus replied.
The Elders nod their heads under the agreement just stated on their assumptions.
The latter look at each other, seeming to deliberate mentally before Lars looks in the direction of Saibus.
"The Council grants you a leave of absence for two years. On the other hand, your leave is only valid for two years and not a day more. After your leave, we want you to come back to declare to the Council your return and that you take a mission. to be executed. In the event that you do not attend a hearing with the Council after your leave, we will send assassins to find you to bring you back by force. Is that clear? " Lars says firmly.
"Clear, Elders."
"Fine, you can go then." Lars orders, reverting to his usual old man expression.
Saibus greets the members of the Council and leaves the room to seek his ancestral heritage.

Saibus is currently on the quays of Novigrad. He bought a sloop which he repaired and modified for his trip to Eden. The hull of the boat is dark blue with undertones of black. The sail is scarlet with the symbol of the League with a golden apple in its center.

Saibus climbs aboard his ship, goes to the hold, and deposits the bags he was carrying. He puts down several bags containing food, repair materials, weapons, powder, oil… He climbs the stairs which take him to the bridge. The bridge is lit by a few lanterns eliminating the darkness of the night.
"Clac Clac" the sound of heels on wood reaches the ears of Saibus. Turning his head towards the source of the noise, he sees Yennefer dressed in her usual clothes in addition to a gray fur coat with black embossing. She holds in her hands a full leather bag.

"Where do I put this bag?" asks Yennefer.
"Put him in the booth and go to the bar." Saibus retorts.
"Got it, captain."
"Stop calling me like that and do as I tell you."
Yennefer does not respond but does what Saibus told him. While Yennefer drops the bag in the captain's cabin and takes the helm, Saibus is turning the sails the right way.
Yennefer is now at the bar, Saibus goes back anchor. The wind is blowing hard, causing the sail to swell. The ship sets off outside the port.

It's been two weeks since Saibus and Yennefer went out to sea in search of Eden. When leaving, they thought they would get off the island quickly using magic, but the navigation is more difficult than they thought. They weathered several storms, damaging the boat as the waves on the high seas are as high as the boat itself. The sea has shown them that it can be both gentle and wild, thinking of one to the other as fast as a face-changing doppelganger.
One calm evening, Saibus is outside, on the upper deck, holding the helm. He looks at the compass he holds in his right hand. Nodding, he blocks the helm so that the ship goes straight ahead, northwest. He descends the stairs to the upper and lower deck and enters the cabin. The cabin is in light wood, with black velvet on the floor. Opposite the door is a large window with a desk in front. On the left, a small bookstore filled with books on navigation, marine legends, or other books related to exploration or the sea. Next to the bookstore, a door from which an echo of water falling on the ground echoed. Finally, to the right of the door, a large canopy bed is walnut.
Saibus walks towards the office where he takes the seat. Looking at the map spread out on the desk.

Saibus POV:
According to the dimensions of the map and the information provided by Hecate, we should have already seen the island on the horizon. So why, can't find the island. We may have made a miscalculation but it is unlikely because we have done it many times already. So what?' Saibus reflects on the reasons for their inability to find the island.
I take out my ancestor's notebook and start its contents.
"'If you've lost your way, look for the hot and cold binoculars. Follow them and at the green levee, the way home." I read aloud a sentence that I saw for the very first time in the notebook. I take a good look at the notebook and confirm that this sentence was not there before. I then feel something running down my finger. I turn the book and notice a tiny cut that I didn't even feel. I close the book and put it on the desk when I notice a dark spot on the back cover of the notebook.
"Genie" I exclaimed; immediately understanding what had just happened. 'Hecate is a real genius, she linked the notebook to her blood, so that only her descendants can obtain the means to reach Eden. I smile, finally moving forward in my quest for Eden. I don't have time to look at the book to see if other writing has been added as the bathroom door opens, letting Yennefer out in scantily clad clothes.

"Saibus, we have a quiet night for once, let's make the most of our time." Yennefer declares sensually, biting his lower lip. She comes closer to me, puts her hands around my neck.
"If my lady wants it," I say, taking her by the waist, which makes her bark. I bring my lips to her neck, kissing her softly. She hugs me, running her hands through my hair. I lift my face to bring it closer to his ears, blowing on it. She moaned a little in reaction.
"This will be one of our last nights at sea, I look forward to making the most of it."
