The League of Assassins, the most influential and powerful organization in the Northern Kingdoms. The League is a secret organization known only to witchers, mages, and high kingdom officials. Although they know of its existence, no one knows anything about the League. All because of the League's most important rule: always stay in the shadows and never betray the League.
On the other hand, the only thing widely known there is not to touch members of the League because retaliation will be inevitable. This can be seen many times throughout history, and the most recent of examples is what happened to the King of Nazair three months ago. The king had undertaken a series of actions against the Assassins who were around in his kingdom. He thought he was stronger and smarter than the League, but the reality caught up with him. He was found in his bath filled with blood with a puncture in his heart.
The death of the king caused an uproar. The succession was very brutal because three-quarters of these children died during these last three months, leaving only too young children and Azal, a ten-year-old child who acceded to the throne. So the death of the king was very destructive for the kingdom. It's not just death that happens when the League is attacked.

The leap of faith, one of the two requirements with the oath to become an assassin. The leap of faith, a leap that may seem trivial and unnecessary but is, in reality, essential to the existence of the League.
"Young Saibus, you accomplished your passing mission brilliantly. You showed all the requirements to become an assassin and a great one. Patience, knowledge, preparations, agility, discretion, lethality. All of these things can make you a very great one. Assassin, but you have one thing left to do before you can take the oath and officially join the League. This thing is the leap of faith. " an old voice declares in the dark.
Saibus is in a space filled with darkness with a floor of hewn stone below him. On the ground, a cart full of the liver is alone. There is nothing else in this black space.
"Many apprentices never become assassins because they cannot make this leap. You young Saibus, will you manage to take the leap of faith and become an assassin, or will you ever remain an apprentice?" the voice asks.
Saibus looks at the ground and sees it moving away from him. His vision begins to blur. His breathing begins to speed up.
"Weak, a weakling like you can never become an assassin," a voice arises.
"A half-elf wants to chase me and my chase, pitiful, return to your traitorous mother." comes another voice.
"You shame me as an apprentice. I spent years teaching you for nothing." said a voice.
"You want a future with me, but who will want you, a coward."
"You take me for your brother, but I am not and never will be. I know that deep down, I am only your slave."
"You, being an assassin, don't make me laugh. You are a disgrace to the Di Vines."
More and more voices echo in the shadows, unsettling Saibus.
Unfortunately for these voices, it doesn't work as a smile is visible on her face—a smile of understanding and happiness.
"The leap of faith, a leap that the assassins use, one of their symbols with the secret blades. A leap that is not only a leap but also a way to overcome fears and jump. 'unknowns, jump into the darkness. " Saibus says with a smirk.
Saibus looks at the cart and drops down. He leans back, opens his arms wide, and continues his free fall. The free fall lasted an infinitely long time. Saibus had the impression of remaining eternally in a vacuum.
"BOOM" After an indefinite period, Saibus finally falls into the cart of the liver, which stops his fall. He gets out of the cart on his knees. Unfortunately, he doesn't have time to get up because the space around him changes.
The shadows rise to give way to a dark room, dimly lit by a chandelier. In front of him is a high circular platform. On this platform, thirteen people are seated. Each of his people are dressed as an assassin. Their assassin outfits are different from traditional ones, proving their positions as only council members and some masters can change their outfits.
"Young Saibus, you have shown that you have the skills to become an assassin." one of the people declares.
You have also shown that you can overcome your fears, which is one of the fundamentals of becoming an assassin, "said another.
"To be a full part of the Order, you must now take an oath. But know that once you swear, you are and will always be an assassin, even in death." announces another.
"Are you ready, ready to take the oath?" asks a voice.
"Yes," Saibus answers firmly.
"Good then shed your blood and say after me." orders a voice.
Saibus takes a small blade from his outfit and cuts his palm. He puts his blade away and closes his fist. He spills his blood on the floor.
"The blood you shed represents your determination to do your duty, even if you have to lose your life for it." said the voice.
"Your blade will not shed the blood of an innocent man." said the voice.
"My blade will not shed the blood of an innocent man."
"Show yourself but stay invisible."
"You will never endanger the Brotherhood."
"I will never endanger the Brotherhood."
"Nothing is true. Everything is permitted," say Saibus and the voice in unison.
