In the afternoon, we meet Saibus and Trinity south of Novigrad, near Lucien's windmill to attack a small bandit camp. The two were on the slope of the small climb next to the bandit camp. "Are you ready for your first bandit camp?" Trinity asked. Saibus didn't answer but nodded. Trinity and Saibus didn't move and waited for an opportunity to attack and that opportunity quickly presented itself as most of the bandits fell asleep leaving just a few guards on edge.
The bandit camp is made up of three houses in a circle with a campfire in the middle. The bandits sleep either on benches or in houses. The guards who stand guard are positioned in front of the three gates of the fence which surrounds the houses and which delimits the land. At each entrance, there are two guards. Saibus can see two bandits slept near the campfire. There are at least eight bandits in this group, and probably about fifteen if you count those in the houses. Saibus left his hiding place and made the tour of the camp.

POV Saibus.
'I see eight bandits and there are more taking into account those sleeping in the houses. Killing the bandits who are near the fire is easy. For those in the houses, this is more complicated, but it is possible to do it discreetly. The hardest part is to enter by killing the two guards of a door without alerting the other bandits. It's only complicated if you go in there, but if you go through the houses, it becomes much easier. ' Saibus thought of a plan of action to kill everyone quietly and without Trinity's help. She wants him to complete this mission solo to see how he hatches a plan and acts if the going gets tough.
Saibus walked towards one of the houses and climbed to enter the enclosure of the camp. Saibus got out of the house quietly.
I walked over to the sleeping bandits. I got behind one of them, put my hand in front of his mouth and slit his throat immediately, killing him silently. I did the same with his colleague. I then head for the house that I have climbed. I can see from the windows that there is only one bandit inside this house. I walk in and approach the bandit and stick my sword in his head. I leave the house and head for the next house. I repeat the same operation for this house except that there was one bandit at the table and the other in the bed. I leave this house and enter the last one where there was no one.
The only enemies that remain are those guarding the three entrances. 'There is little chance that I can kill them all without being spotted.' I walk towards the entrance closest to the house from which I have climbed. I hide behind a wall and watch the bandits. The two bandits are sitting on the ground with a bottle of wine each. Both are very tipsy and can't stand properly let alone a sword. I throw a senbon with a sleeping poison in their necks. The poison acts immediately and puts them to sleep. I walk over and slit their throats, then head for the next door. The next two bandits are not tipsy. They are standing next to each other. I repeat the same as the previous door, but this time the poison is paralyzing. As soon as I throw the senbons, I run towards them to kill them.
"ENEMY, we're being attacked." one of the guards shouted before ending up completely paralyzed like his colleague. I hurry to kill them before the last two bandits who must have heard his cry come back. When I finish killing the last guard at the gate the last two bandits run up and take notice. The bandits attack me as soon as they see me without arguing. I throw the Aard sign to make them switch in their races. I throw an Igni at one of the bandits, but he manages to dodge it on the ground. I take advantage of the fact that he is still on the ground to finish him. The second bandit attacks me behind my back, but an eagle cry is heard before Regiis attacks him in the head and kills him using his talons to stab him in the head.
I turn to look at my partner. "It's only now that you come, and elsewhere where you have been?" I asked.
"Kyak kyak kyaaak, kyak." Regiis yelped.
"I know I didn't come looking for you, but we're bonded. We can find each other very easily, plus it's been a while since I've called you." I answered.
Regiis and I exchange a few more sentences before seeing Trinity approach us. Regiis flew off to land on my left shoulder.
"You did your mission well. You were quiet and murderous like an assassin, but you almost got hit in the end if your eagle hadn't taken care of the bandit. You have room for improvement." declared Trinity.
"I know, but I knew Regiis approaching, that's why I let him approach," I replied.
"That's not a good enough reason to take such a risk. I don't want you to do that sort of thing next time." Trinity said firmly. I nod my head. We have our spoils of war, which includes a hundred crowns, whatever potion ingredients we find in the houses, and two earlier good quality swords that we sold in Novigrad before returning home.
