She was running, not because she couldn't reach her broom, no, her broom was strapped in staff form across her back. No she was running because she was being chased and she had more of an advantage if she was running on the ground. She wasn't trying to get away from what was chasing her, not exactly, she was trying to reach a destination, before the things behind her caught up. The forest was dense but it seemed to part for her, the way the world parted sometimes for her and her sisters. It didn't, however, part with the things behind her, but she needed them to follow her so she slowed her pace a fraction, letting her movements become a bit more noisey. They followed her through the forest until she reached the bottom of a small cliff, where she scrambled up part of the rock and into an alcove she had found the night before, shielded from view by more rock and moss. When they were at the bottom of the cliff, some trying to start climbing she heaved against the stone behind her, pushing, pushing, until- It fell down down down then it hit the log launching the smaller stones into the air where they rained down on the mob at the face of the cliff. The heaviest stone rolled down the now overturned long rolling past the first stone and down a sloped pass of the cliff, gaining speed until...crack. The oulder flew off a ledge and hit a nearby tree so hard it broke, the tree coming down on the mob, some of whom had been knocked unconscious by a blow to the head from the stones. This of course broke the wasp net that had been in the tree, and which now was in pieces at the center of the mob, many angry looking wasps now emerging from the wreckage. The tree of course had also, in coming down, triggered two more trees to follow, both of which had stones tied to many of the higher up branches, to reach those who were on the outskirts of the mob and thus had avoided most of the barrages so far. Now it was time, she grabbed the matches she had left in the alcove and lit one, touching it to the vodka soaked string she had unwound around the clearing. The clearing was burning in moments, the string, the downed trees, the mob, all of it set a blaze. All of it burning around her and her mouth quirked in a small smile.
