Alex took Cassandra and immediately teleported straight to Power Girl's room at a moment's notice when he felt her waking up.
"You are finally awake Sleepyhead". Alex joker and looked at the dazed Power Girl looking around the room curiously.
"Who are you?" She tilted her head to the side in confusion and asked.
"I am the owner of this building and the one who rescued you from the portal". Alex smiled and introduced himself.
"And this is Cassandra, my Girlfriend". Then Alex pointed at Cassandra and said.
"Thank you but why did you save me. I don't remember anything". Power Girl clutched her head lightly and asked in distress.
"Haaaa, so it's that huh". Alex sighed and looked at her with pity.
"Do you want to know the hard truth?" He sat down on a chair that he conjured and Cassandra sat down on one beside him.
"Yes". Power Girl clenched her fists and prepared herself for whatever was coming.
"You are from another Universe and that Universe has been destroyed". Alex said in a solemn voice when he mentioned it.
"What!" Power Girl exclaimed and nearly jumped out of the bed in astonishment.
"Yes, I get no advantage after lying to you". Alex nodded again and his face was showing a bit of regret and sadness.
"How can this be?" Power Girl looked deflated and slumped in the bed sadly.
She couldn't wrap her around the concept that anyone from her universe that she might have ever known are dead and she is the only one left alive.
It brings people a sense of loneliness. The sadness very overwhelming for her and she couldn't help shedding some tears while blocking her eyes with her arm.
"Let it all out. It will be alright, at least you don't remember. So you can make some good memories here". Alex spoke softly while patting her head reassuringly.
"Thank you". Power Girl kept crying and thanked him in between her sobs.
"We should give you some space". Alex prepared to get out of the room with Cassandra to allow Power to have some lone time.
"Please don't go. I feel alone". Power Girl held onto Alex's sleeve and said with some hope in her eyes.
"Okay". Alex smiled and motioned Cassandra to sit back down as well.
Both of them sat down to accompany the sad Power Girl and just talked about all kinds pf random things with her.
"Well, why don't you join Young Justice like I told you. You can make some friends and also make some good memories with everyone. It will allow you to get out of the shadow of the news". Alex asked while looking at Power Girl in front of him.
She has gotten a bit better after crying for a solid thirty minutes and has been able to laugh at some of Alex's jokes.
He even told her about the Justice League, Young Justice and all those things. This proposal also came from that news.
Power Girl stopped speaking and pondered on Alex's words and really thought about the prospects of it.
"I will". Then she smiled and nodded her head in agreement. This proposal didn't sound like a bad deal to her. It will only allow her to have something to do and also be able to make some friends.
Plus, Alex and Cassandra are also here. So that was a plus point for her as well. So she readily agreed to the proposal.
"Welcome to the family". Alex smiled and presented his hand for a handshake.
Power Girl smiled and also shook his hand like in a dream. Today has been very surreal for her and she has experienced a lot in a very short time.
"Now get some sleep and I will introduce you to everyone tomorrow". Alex waved his hand at her and disappeared with Cassandra.
'Today has been very hectic'. Alex thought while laying down in bed with Cassandra sleeping with her head on his chest.
The next day like promised, Alex took Power Girl down into the lobby to meet everyone there. All the members were here since it was the morning.
"Yo brats, we have a new addition to the family". Alex greeted everyone loudly to get their attention.
"She is the newest member of the family. I present to you all, Power Girl also known as Kara Zor-el". Alex did a grand pose and pointed towards Power Girl.
"Starfire, you are in charge of showing her the base and touring her around". Alex suddenly looked at Starfire and ordered.
"Yes". Starfire exclaimed cheerfully and ran towards Power Girl and took her hand before starting to introduce everyone.
"Hey". Wally on the other hand was focused somewhere else. He elbowed Super boy and whispered.
"What?" Superboy also whispered back.
"Her boobs are really big right". Wally said with a very perverted light in his eyes.
"Yeah". Superboy subconsciously nodded but then reacted quickly and denied again and again.
"Dude, no need to deny it. I know you like it". Wally slapped his back and laughed happily like he found an accomplice.
Alex heard their words but ignored it. Sole fun is also necessary or they can't be just restricted all day long and exercise.
Plus, this is not a school but an organisation and people have different circles and opinions. You can't just erase them.
Power Girl was handed over to Starfire and Alex was finally free to do what he wanted.
'Haven't seen Komand'r in a while. I should visit her as well'. Alex pondered and finally settled on this approach.
But this time, he won't be going alone there. He will bring another guest with him and may even bring a lot of guests with him.
As soon as he decided on it. Alex teleported to the Wayne mansion at a moment's notice. He had to first bring them with him.
When he got here. He saw Martha spoiling Damian while feeding him and Thomas looking helpless on the side.
"Let the kid eat himself". Thomas said helplessly again nth time now.
"You keep quiet. I just want to do it this time. He can do it himself later". Martha glared at Thomas and focused back on Damian.
'It is true that Grandsons and Granddaughters are more loved than Sons and Daughters'. Alex couldn't help shaking his head at this.
