Barry, the poor guy was still trying to run but felt that someone was blocking his path forward. Like there was some kind of barrier that prevented him from moving at his full speed.
He was trying his best but he just couldn't muster up the speed to move back to the past.
He was very frustrated from this and finally stopped when he couldn't take it anymore.
'Guess, I should find Alex and talk about it'. He thought and ran towards Europe. He knew that Alex would be there.
Alex on the other hand, had just rescued Captain Atom and was also teleporting over to Europe.
'First, let's go to Cyborg and Shazam to know their situation'. Alex teleported over to an empty building.
It was a run down building amidst the war between Atlanteans and Amazons.
Inside, there was a meeting going on and everyone was looking at each other solemnly.
Alex just froze the time and walked in leisurely before sitting on a seat with his legs up and his back leaning on the chair lazily.
The time started again and he appeared in front of everyone's eyes like a phantom which made all of them alert.
"Who are you?!" Lois Lane said with anger while pointing her gun straight to Alex's face.
"A visitor from an alternate Reality. I am here to see what is happening with the resistance". Alex yawned with a bored expression and said calmly.
This question has been asked so many times that he grew bored of it already.
"Lois, stand back". Cyborg said and motioned to her with his hand.
He could clearly feel that they weren't Alex's opponents even if they all ganged up on him.
So it was better to not have a conflict and just see what he wanted to do.
"I can stop the fight between the Amazons and the Atlanteans but then you'll be on your own". Alex said and stretched his body while standing up.
"Can you really?" Shazam asked with an eager and happy smile on his face.
He was only a young child in the body of an adult after gaining his power. So he is quite gullible in that sense.
Plus he can feel Alex's strength through his powers and wants to take this chance.
He might have Solomon's wisdom but most of the time, he doesn't even use it.
"Why would you help us?" Cyborg asked scrutinisingly while holding Shazam's arm with his hand to stop him.
"Because I am a good person. Does that answer your question?" Alex asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile.
Cyborg looked at him for a while to ascertain if he was telling the truth but them shook his because he couldn't get anything from him.
"If you really want to then please help us". He bowed his upper body a little and asked.
"That's a given. We also have another guy to free though". Alex said and vanished from his place.
"Do you think he was telling the truth?" Shazam asked and looked at Cyborg.
"Who knows". Cyborg shrugged his shoulders and resumed his meeting with the others on the scene.
Alex had teleported to a hidden facility. It was like a containment building.
There was a red light all over the hallways and corridors and the security in the building was really strict.
In the most secure part of the building. There was a skinny figure that looked haggard and was wearing a white bodysuit.
There was the S Superman symbol on his chest and he was weakly looking at the ground.
"General, we have contained the alien for so long and the experiments are not coming along very well". Suddenly, a voice sounded outside his cell.
"Useless!" The General was furious and almost slapped the researcher in the face.
Alex suddenly appeared in the room amidst their exclamations and turned invisible.
He looked towards the front and saw the bound Clark Kent in the cell.
His head was hung down weakly and he was looking at the ground.
Alex snapped his fingers and all red sun equipment malfunctioned at the same time and started to display yellow sun radiation.
Superman looked up in hope and looked straight at the yellow sun radiator filling the entire passageway and the cell.
The yellow sun radiation bathed his body and he started to feel energised from it.
The General and the researcher were suddenly sluggish when they saw this and immediately reacted.
"Shut off the reactor quickly!" The General roared in the intercom as soon as possible but it was already too late.
Superman already had a full sauna in the yellow Sun Radiation and his eyes were already glowing red.
The bindings on his body snapped one by one with the movement of his limbs and he blasted the General with his heat vision.
A burnt hole was blasted through the general's body immediately.
Superman was not satisfied with this and immediately moved his eyes to cut the researcher in half.
His hatred for these people could not be measured in words.
They slaughtered his parents and put him in this facility for the rest of his life. It would be a surprise if he could calmly walk away.
"Yo mate, can you calm down for a bit. I didn't save you to go on a rampage". Alex's voice suddenly came into his ears and he looked towards the side.
Alex materialised in the room and looked at the skinny Superman.
"Okay just a second first". Alex materialised a Camera and took a picture of him real quick to tease Clark in his reality.
After seeing the picture. He nodded in satisfaction and put away the camera.
"Why did you help me?" Superman asked in a hoarse voice. He hasn't spoken for so long and his throat is so dry that a desert will have more water than him.
"Because I am a good guy kinda". Alex also replied back with a bit of question in his voice.
"Well, I freed you and you are free to do what you want now. I just wanted this picture anyway". Alex waved his hand to dismiss him and disappeared from the place himself.
