Alex finally put down the tray and swept everything away after Koriand'r finished enjoying the cake in front of her happily like a little hamster.
"Now, here's the deal. I can take you away right now or we can wait and I will find out everything about this and we then destroy it". Alex said with a gleam in his eyes while looking at her.
"Okay, we will free all the innocent prisoners here". Koriand'r clenched her fist and said with determination.
"Good". Alex nodded his head with a pleasant smile.
"Someone's coming". Alex looked towards the outside of the room and said.
He snapped his fingers quickly and reverted everything to how it was before.
"Get out, his majesty wants you to fight". A guard banged on the cell bars and said.
"Let's go. Wait for me here". Alex got out of the cell but not before greeting Koriand'r.
"Mmhmm". Koriand'r nodded her head and continued to eat the sweets that Alex gave her before.
It was a big bag of candies and she was slowly chewing them. She was taking a handful at a time and her cheeks were constantly bulging.
Alex laughed a little and followed the guards towards the place of his fight.
"Laugh all you want but this place will teach you how to behave?" The guard in the back laughed mockingly and continued to escort him.
Both of them were snickering at his misery while guiding him towards the challenge ring.
Alex didn't pay attention to their derision and just focused on seeing through everything here.
Soon, they came to a portal like projection. Alex was pushed into it and came to a separate dimension altogether.
"Welcome our new challenger to the War World. He will be matched against our undefeated champion Draaga". A yellow skinned guy with a massive body and purple clothes said in a holographic projection.
His voice was strained and rough like someone was choking his neck.
From the other side of the arena, a brown skinned guy came in with golden and black armour that just covered his crotch.
He had golden gauntlets on his hand with golden boots and a golden belt. He was holding a black stick like thing in his hand.
"Roar". Draaga roared as soon as he came to his designated position.
The crowd looking at the projection and listening to the voice cheered at the top of their lungs.
'If I am not wrong then this guy is only at the City Level. So just my Brute force is enough for him. No need for any fancy shit'. Alex though and cracked his knuckles and neck along with a good stretch of his body.
Alex didn't chat or say anything to him and just assumed a fighting stance.
"Take this!" Draaga yelled and the stick suddenly glowed with a white light and an axe head emerged on the stick.
He chopped it down with all his strength as soon as he neared Alex.
Alex ducked below the Axe and swept his legs. Making Draaga fall on his back.
He then mounted his upper body and swept the axe away from his hand before he started smash his face with both hands.
Draaga was disoriented and couldn't muster up any strength because of Alex precise control of punching area and strength.
His nose and cheek bones were smashed in. Although he didn't have much of a nose to begin with.
After knocking him out effortlessly. Alex stood up and shook his hands to take the blood out of them.
"And we have our new champion. *whisper* What's his name?" Mongul yelled but then asked his confidant on the side because he didn't remember getting a name for the guy.
He never even thought that this new guy will be able to beat Draaga in the first place. So he never bothered but he was wrong.
"Our new Champion, the Reaper". Mongul announced in a loud voice along with the cheers of the whole audience.
Alex had registered his name in Oa's Bounty Hunting Guild. So his name was fairly known and it was no surprise that Mongul was able to get it as well.
Alex again stretched his limbs a bit and looked towards Mongul's position.
It was like he could see through the dimension and pinpoint Mongul's position easily.
Alex put his thumb on the left of his neck and dragged it across while looking at him with a pleasant smile.
Suddenly, a cold weapon was placed on his neck and it actually swept across his neck.
Mongul narrowed his eyes and looked at Alex with a gloomy expression.
He knew that he had invited a menace onto his own ship this time.
Although normal weapons aren't strong enough to hurt him and even if they did. This was just an Avatar of his.
Multiversal level beings weren't really allowed to exit the higher dimension with their true bodies after the Crisis.
The same was true for Darkseid and multiple other Gods and beings in the Omniverse.
The Presence had strict control on this type of thing for some reason. Even though he usually didn't bother with anything else.
But the process of appearing in a Universe wasn't easy. A pure soul had to corrupted with their powers to make it their avatars and appear in the Universe.
Alex knew all this that's why he was confident of defending the Universe from these kind of people.
Even the Anti-Monitor before was only at Universal Level and could be countered with the help of Avalon and GER.
Alex dusted his hands and walked over to the portal opened in the field and exited the War World safely.
He came back to his cell and changed it again as soon as he stepped inside and the guards were gone.
'So the Mongul is definitely not at the Multiversal Level. This makes things easier'. Alex thought to himself while looking at Koriand'r still eating candies like a squirrel with puffed cheeks.
"Pfft". He laughed because he couldn't handle the cuteness of her munching on candies like this.
