It's been a week since he left Tamaran and now he is on his way to Oa. He did encounter some Space pirates along the way but those guys were to easy solve for him.
Those guys are already a part of the Space Debris. Alex just went on with his life after taking care of them.
"I will be at Oa soon. Will they give me a Lantern Ring?" Alec said while rubbing his chin and posing like wearing a Lantern ring with a fist clenched right below his chin and looking forward.
"This loneliness is making me crazy". He shook his head as he thought about reading some of the books he took from Tamaran.
While reading, he left the ship on autopilot. He was getting really bored and the loneliness was killing him.
Like this, another day passed and Alex inched ever so closer to Oa. He was getting ready to land as the System said that he was really close.
"Halt, please state your purpose". A voice came as Alex saw lights flashing all around his Space Ship.
"I am here to contact the guardian of my sector. I am his friend and I am kind of lost". Alex said with a troubled expression.
Oa wasn't just a simple place for the guardians. It was also a type of trading hub and a hospitable sector of the Universe.
But they don't just let anyone into their base without a clear purpose and verification of identity.
"We have to verify your identity. Please follow behind us". The voice came from the receiver as Alex's ship automatically followed behind the patrol.
After a while, they were in front of an external guard post as Alex disembarked under instructions and was surrounded by Green Lanterns.
"You only need to touch this Green Lantern and we will let you in". An alien looking guy said as he waved his thin limbs to point at the lantern.
'Lanterns sure have their convenience. The ring can translate everything that they are saying'. Alex thought while moving forward and touching the lantern.
The lantern glowed along with the rings on the other's hands and stopped after a brief moment.
"Alright sir, you can go in. If you want to contact a lantern then please go to administration in the station". The lantern reminded him as he showed him out of the station and helped to get to the station.
"Thank you". Alex said as he disembarked from their Spaceship. His Spaceship was already parked by them somewhere else.
He moved forward as he looked at the bustling streets of the station. There was literally everything here.
'Should buy some good technology from here'. Alex thought while moving towards a hardware store.
'I already have some tech from Tamaran but it wouldn't be bad to collect more. Oh, I know a way to get some money'. Alex stopped in his tracks as he looked towards a guy moving along the streets.
"Can you show me to the bounty house?" He asked as the guy's necklace lit up.
"Yeah, move two streets forward and turn right. You'll spot it easily". The guy nodded and explained as he went on his way.
'So that was a translator. Quite nice'. Alex thought while moving on his way.
He soon came to a big building made entirely out of a shining metal. It looked futuristic and nice.
Alex pushed past the doors as all the noise inside the building hit his face.
People were sitting around tables while enjoying drinks and making noise. It was more like a rowdy bar than a Bounty house.
There was a counter where a lot of posters were on display as they showed different space pirates and their bounties.
Alex just gave a cursory glance at everything in the hall and moved over to the counter.
"What can I do you?" A pink skinned girl with scales and horns was standing behind the counter as she greeted Alex.
"I would like to cash in some bounties". Alex said while operating Avalon.
'I knew it would come in handy'. He thought to himself.
"Please follow me". The girl said as she moved towards a separate room.
Alex nodded and followed behind her silently.
They came to a separate and private room as the girl stood to one side and motioned Alex to sit down.
"So how do you plan to transfer the bodies sir?" The girl asked with a smile.
"Like this". Alex waved his hand as multiple bodies piled up on top of each other in a corner of the room.
"We will assess them and get back to you shortly. Please enjoy your stay". The girl bowed as the bodies floated beside her and she carried them out like this. There wasn't a single change on her face like it was a regular occurrence to her.
'I feel like an idiot trying to show off'. Alex thought as he sipped some water present on the table.
He waited for a couple of minutes before the clerk returned with a black metallic card.
"Sir, your credits. You have gotten a total of 1.2 million credits from the bounties". The girl said while giving the card to Alex respectfully.
"That's alright. Can you recommend me a good hardware store?" Alex said as he stood up with a smile.
"Yes, follow these instructions". The girl said as she projected a hologram from the watch on her wrist.
"Thank you". Alex looked at the map and after thanking her. He left the store.
He quickly made his way towards the hardware store and saw a big building that looked like a skyscraper made entirely of metal and glass. It looked Sci Fi.
As soon as he entered, he was scanned with a blue ray of light and let in.
"Welcome to Briggs' hardware. What would like?" A clerk greeted him from the side as soon as he stepped inside the building.
"I want some translators and rest I will browse myself". Alex said.
"Certainly, please follow me. I will show you the catalogue". The clerk bowed as she led the way for Alex.
Alex followed behind her as he was bought to a portal. He fumbled with it for a bit and understood it's operation as he started to browse some things.
'These advanced computers, translators, vehicles and weapons would be good take. I can reverse engineer them'. Alex thought as he bought one of everything with best quality.
He had to pay a total of 1 million credits to finalise his purchase. He was poor in a blink of an eye.
